SDM Alipur office is easy to locate with maps and is near to swami sharadhanand college,DU, in Alipur with having space 30-35 free car/bike parking inside premises available for public. For issuing any kind of dept. of revenue certificate(s)/ Caste certificate/ Marriage certificate Domicile delhi/ Income certificate/ Birth or Death certificate etc, or meeting with SDM Alipur is entertained here with prior appointment for areas of jurisdiction in Alipur , samaypur, Rohini sec 15-19 etc. Timings are 10am-6pm for (govt.)staff to arrive and half and hour for the settlement. All public holidays, gazetted holidays , alongwith all Saturday & Sunday office is closed. Backside of the building but ,inside the premises is also Govt authorised AADHAR facilitation centre for all type of aadhar work with or without appointment available and a mini canteen for public. #For Issuing documents :- After applying online on E-district website & for any kind of certificate(s) , you will get an acknowledgement slip or Application no. after your final submission of application. Please do take a printout(must) of it and within 7 working days only,(A day later will not be entertained and application need to be applied again as i faced the same ) visit SDM office Alipur,(Or address mentioned in your application acknowledgement) for your original document verification. Do keep all photocopy of documents along for your safer side, they may ask for it , else your time will be wasted in doing the process from near available shop & day is wasted. Before visiting for verification of original documents, xx Do not consider or fall for email received online by e-district stating timings are (10am-1pm), it's totally different and Nowhere mentioned the correct timings ,- it is only mentioned at office gate about token system. Now, Saving your time with this review, it doesn't work that way here in 2025.xx A que/line of public is made everyday from early morning 5am- 8:30am and a token no. is given to people present .Only 80-120 tokens are given per day. Then after the token no. your name will be entered in an unsaid informal list with security gaurd, according to which at 9:30am the clerk on reception counter will give you a date & signed stamped on your application no printout. Only the stamped application will be seen by the document verification officer in room no.19 - certificate branch. After verifying original documents required, they will keep the application form and ask you to wait for 15-20 days minimum and keep tracking on website or through SMS. If any document is not considered/ accepted by the officer(Mr. Ashish) , either they will keep your application on hold until correct document presented again or will reject with a reason. Then you have to do the same above full process again. Fee - No fee charges for any issuance of any certificate. No middleman inside premises to get your work done, might be available outside premises gate, they may get your work done without you coming to office.(Avoid ,until necessary or application rejected several times). #Advice - Come as early as possible near 5am, take token no. and come again at 9:30 am(only if you live nearby) to save time and line, later to get it stamped on application , to get your work done at earliest in que . It takes 20 people to get through in one hour, so plan accordingly. Still you will have to keep asking people as after distribution of tokens , no one is there at reception for help. To get SDM appointment - take online prior appointment. Cons- 1.Long ques if anyone doesn't know about token system, without token same day work done is impossible. 2. Dirty public washrooms 3. No one available at helpdesk for public . 4. No photocopy or print out facility available for public inside premises .( 500m ahead is a local market & is available from 9 am onwards, if you forget any document) .

Worst place to visit and get the needed work done. These people working here find excuses to not to do work. None to report about their non cooperative attitude.

Pathetic service... too much delayed processes... even a simple marriage registration will take almost all day... appointment is useless... nothing works as per appointment... too much laid back attitude in everything .. disappointed with india judicial system

The behavior of the employees is good, their way of talking also gets the work done quickly

If you're coming to verify your online application by submitting documents Don't follow that 10-1 false time Instead arrive around 7:30-8 You have to take token for your documents to be submitted Tokens are distributed 9-9:30 Bt que is formed around 8 Only 80 tokens per day ..

Government dispensary/hospital just near the SDM office have very wierd medical staff. I was mentally harassed and abused by the medical staff there in August/November 2021. Male doctors instead of giving medicine/ treatment were engaged in time pass and send me to ask for treatment in another room where the nursing woman asked me are you mad or need a rabies injection? Seeing their weird behaviour, I preferred to leave the place. Prior Male doctors/staff were well behaved and provided good prescription for my ENT infection. Conditions was good before.

Great office and officials As they performed and preforming in this covid pandemic era in a superb way either sending migrants to their hometowns, either working in containment zones, at contigen testing centres or delivering ration to the needy people. Every official working with SDM Alipur is a Truly Corona Warrior.

The people here have pathetic work ethic. They just want to get a day's work done ASAP and try to send people back home without registering because of any illogical reason. I went for marriage registration with all the required documents and the person in room 12 said that one of the uploaded documents is not correct hence you'll have to register a new appointment and come some other day. Although we asked for updating that document from the office, he said there is no way to do it. We had some contacts further up in the office and after asking them the entire process went smoothly. Basically they had a way to update the documents and that person was just trying to send people back so he gets free soon.
