Vadodara Head post office

I visited the Fatehganj post office today to courier my bicycle handlebar. I properly covered it with bubble wrap and foam, as I had received a similar handlebar with the same packing from another state using India Post's service. I showed it to the person in charge there. He didn't say anything; he just took the parcel, showed it to his colleagues, and they all laughed a lot. I asked them if there was anything wrong because I had packed it the same way I received it. After all this nonsense, I don't have any words. I'm very disappointed with the india post office; the workers are worse than pathetic. A few hours later, I visited the same branch and the same person again with the handlebar properly packed in a box. I politely asked him for his name, but he didn't answer. He said they are not allowed to share their names. After that, I asked him why they were laughing. He said, "We are not laughing at you; we have some personal jokes going around. If you have any problem, go and tell the manager," and he pointed to another guy who was also laughing at that time. When I asked for his name again, he said, "Do whatever you have to do. I am not telling you my name." Is this your behavior towards customers? Is this your attitude towards customers? Is this your approach towards customers? Is this the behavior of India Post office staff? I've never heard of anything like this from government officials. I don't have words, but it's clear they are pathetic people sitting in those chairs, laughing at their lives.

Worst experience by employee named rohan Thapar who was sitting on gate 3 counter 6. He is not ready to work after 3.00 , and when we insisted that we have been waiting since 2 hours. He simply replied you should come in morning as you were in such urgent work. I think he is the busy person like president of some country

To Get Ur Courier being Delivered wherever u want irrespective of the city or state, u need to go to Gate no 3 for the same and do Speed Post which is good and it takes around 10-15 days to reach the parcel so plan it accordingly and get it couriered. They mostly prefer cash so don't rely on online modes of payment much. They do have waiting line and mostly after 5:30pm they don't take any parcels, lunch time is between 1:00-1:30 pm as mentioned over there

Nice government place I must say. Very helpful people here in Raopura General post office (Head post office). They Cooperate with you and listen to you issues. Also, they do the work in front of you if all the documents are correct. Also, they have agent system if you don't want to involve yourself personally.
