Sujata Residency

Went on Saturday night. The room was good with a clean bed and the washroom was also neat and clean. Extra mattress available for extra person. The lodge is nearby bus station so easy accessibility within the city. Had to ask for the toiletries. However overall I would say that it is one of the best lodge that is available in the city.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The manager charged me double the amount for a single day, despite the hotel's policy clearly stating the rent is for one day. When I questioned the charge, the manager claimed there were no rules. To make matters worse, the room was in poor condition: - Toilet commode was non-functional - Water leakage from the bathroom The hotel's lack of transparency and poor maintenance is alarming. I advise against visiting this hotel. Issues: - Unfair billing practices - Poor room condition - Unresponsive management Rating Breakdown: - Cleanliness: 1/5 - Service: 1/5 - Value: 1/5

Recently visited yellamma temple with family and stayed overnight at sujata residency. Even though hotel is located in under developed town, quality of service, food and cleanliness is not less than any standard hotel in metros. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

Very nice place to stay here. We have opted for an AC room. This is close to the main bus stand. If you are travelling to Yallamma temple this is close to that location. Room service is good. Bar attached . Food is excellent.

Prime location , has hygenic and well maintained rooms .

It was a very pleasant experience to stay in Sujata Residency. Sanjay ji help us too much to get proper service from staff and also gives us the ideas to move around Saudantti. Food quality was LAJAWAB..........We enjoy our stay ......We wish ALL THE BEST for future success......

Check-in - 23/12/2023 (7.00 pm) Check-out - 24/12/2023 (7.00 am) We were a group of 16 from Mumbai who visited Saundatti for visiting Saudatti and Parasgad Forts. The famous temple was not on our list. Initial interaction with Mr. Sanjay Thorat over the phone was smooth. The booking with an advance was smooth. Initially, had booked 5 rooms with an extra bed in each room for 15 members. Later, one member was added to the group, making our group of total 16. I informed Mr. Sanjay Thorat about one additional member and requested on additional arrangement. To this he agreed over the phone and assured that one extra person will be accommodated by adding two extra beds in one room. It was my mistake that I relied on Mr. Sanjay Thorat's verbal assurance and did not put it in black & white. This was due to my earlier interaction with Mr. Sanjay Thorat, which was cordial. It is important to mention that we are a group of trekkers who are used to staying in Ashrams, Temples, Dormitories etc. and can easily fit anywhere and are open to adjustments. Previous day we stayed in 3 rooms, each room accommodating 5 members, at Hotel Gajaraj Palace at Kittur. We stayed here for just 12 hours. The things took an uncomfortable turn after we reached the Hotel. There was a complete denial to the verbal discussion that we had about 16th member. Also, the room size is small to accommodate an extra bed. Towel was refused for extra bed. Soap was not provided per member (other than extra member). We were willing to book an additional room but were arrogantly told that no rooms are available, which was fine. But the tone and attitude was unacceptable. The behavior of Mr. Sanjay Thorat was completely unacceptable and was totally opposite to my earlier interaction over the phone. We booked a room in a nearby hotel and after sometime received a call from Mr. Sanjay Thorat that informing that a room is available. Had he told us to wait and that we will try for a room, we had no problem in waiting but with his arrogant reply, it was clear that he is no mood to co-operate. So actually, 14 members stayed in the rooms which were booked for 15 members. No complaints about the room and other facilities but don't go for an extra bed in any room. The rooms are not big to accommodate an extra person plus extra person is treated like a beggar. No Towel, No Soap for extra person despite charging for extra person. If we were informed about this earlier, we had no problem in booking additional rooms. Location is good. Its close to the Bus Stand and Market. Hotel Shivani is a good option for Meals & Breakfast.
