I had a generally positive experience at Passport Seva Kendra. The process was efficient, and my work was completed quickly. I was impressed that I received a call for police verification on the same day. However, I did encounter one staff member who was somewhat rude. While I understand that handling a large volume of applicants can be challenging, courtesy is still essential. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service provided, and I appreciate the prompt processing of my application. I would recommend Passport Seva Kendra to others.

My wife recently visited the Passport Seva Kendra in Amalapuram to apply for a passport for my 21-day-old baby. While I understand that managing such services can be challenging, I felt there were areas where the experience could be significantly improved. (as I was working in abroad so could not make to go to passport office) The staff insisted that both parents must be present for the application, despite the passport guidelines clearly stating that either parent can accompany the child. This led to unnecessary confusion and delays. Additionally, the process took a considerable amount of time--I entered the office at 9:35 AM and left at 2 PM--which was particularly challenging given I was there with a newborn. We had brought a photo of the baby as per the requirements, but it was rejected, and we were asked to take another one at an external studio. Given the difficulty of capturing a "perfect" photo of a newborn, I believe there should be more flexibility and understanding in such cases. I also noticed that some staff admitted they were new and unfamiliar with the process. While I empathize with their situation, I believe better training and guidance could help ensure smoother and more efficient service delivery. Overall, I hope these observations are taken constructively to enhance the experience for other applicants in the future.

The passport verification officer was very strict in terms of documents of originals and Xerox. You must carry appointment copy, originals of Aadhar, 10th and married certificate (if married) along with xeroxs. And go to the office before your slot time only not beyond that.

If you apply here, it will take 3 to 5 months to get the passport, the verification process and customer treatment here is not good either.

Very worst behaviour of the person who's doing service. His asking us to bring some food items like bakery food sweets and all. And his taking those things from the people who came to apply passport. And his behaviour is not even like educated. And hes rejecting the application directly for few scenarios single parented kids. As he dont have knowledge.

Don't go to amalapuam passport seva. They will ask us come again and again asking extra documents. If possible choose other offices

The Staff working in this office are completing the verification process in speedy manner. My relatives applied for fresh passport and it is despatched within 20 days. The staff also talking very politely. It's better place to apply for fresh/Renewal passport instead of going to Vizag or Bhimavaram.
