I recently opened an LIC policy for my wife and submitted the required valid documents. Unfortunately, due to an agent's error, there was a single spelling mistake in the beneficiary's name. This issue was very crucial for me. I visited the LIC Jambusar Office and met Rajshree Ma'am from the PS department. She was very kind, helpful, and supportive. She provided me with the necessary knowledge and explained the procedure to resolve my problem. Within 15 minutes, my issue was resolved. I am very thankful to her for her assistance. However, I would like to highlight that even a single spelling mistake can lead to significant problems. Many people trust LIC agents and pay premiums blindly without checking the documents on their bonds. It is the responsibility of LIC agents to ensure that every single character in the documentation is correct. Sadly, some agents mislead people just to earn their commission, making the process difficult and confusing for clients. Once an LIC policy is sold, there is often a lack of care and attention to detail. I urge the board members of the LIC Jambusar Office to establish strict guidelines to prevent such mistakes by agents in the future. Ensuring accurate documentation will help maintain and enhance customer trust in LIC.
