Passport Seva Kendra, Payyanur

I had a very efficient experience at the Passport Seva Kendra. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the speed of service was impressive--such fast government service is hard to find elsewhere. To ensure a quicker process, I recommend arriving early in the morning to avoid the rush. The process consists of four stages: first, document verification; second, photo capture and biometric data collection; and finally, an officer reviews the details and verifies the documents. Overall, it was a smooth and streamlined experience.

Excellent service and truly unbelievable experience at PSK Payyanur ... I had one of the best government service experiences at the Payyanur Passport Office. All the staff were extremely cooperative, smiling, friendly, and professional throughout the process. I visited the PSK with only 4 days left for my international travel to renew my child's passport. Despite the very tight timeline, the officers patiently listened, understood the genuineness of the situation, and handled the application with great care and efficiency. To my absolute surprise, the passport was issued on the same day, which felt almost unbelievable. A special mention to the information/help desk staff -- their service mentality, guidance, and continuous support from start to finish made a huge difference. They were calm, reassuring, and genuinely willing to help. PSK Payyanur sets a benchmark for public service. This experience has completely changed my perception of government offices. Truly grateful to the entire team.

The Payyannur Passport Seva Kendra was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the service was remarkably quick and efficient compared to the Mangalore office. I highly recommend it for its excellent and prompt service.

BEST GOVT. OFFICE. Considering sitting arrangements for people standing outside who came along with. Things to keep before going - 1-2 proper copy of all the files. - be on said time. - treat them good and get treated the same. I have no idea why some people here gave 1 star or called out bad behaviour of staffs there. I have been there today and 6 years ago as well, nothing have changed, it's still operates perfectly without any defects. Up from 9:00 Am to evening the staffs put on a smile and keep their patience as well, it amazes me. Each and every staff out there is helpful and informative. Drinking water, Washroom and feeding rooms are available. Parking can be done outside the building. There are couple of restaurants very close. Railway station and KSRTC stand is within 3km radius. Auto Rikshaw can be hired just outside the building.

A note for visitors: This location has a strict policy of only allowing the applicant inside; others must wait outside. Be aware there is no waiting area, shade, or shelter, so it is highly recommended to bring your own umbrella or sun protection, especially if you arrive by taxi or scooter. This is something to consider when planning your visit.

Very disappointed with the service. I had senior citizen with me and they had to wait outside in the scorching heat because the staffs were having lunch . I also witnessed ladies with children suffering the heat outside.

Quite easy for people in taliparamba area to access rather than kannur PSK as travelling is easy to payyannur. Got the slot in the afternoon, processed on time with no delay. Only thing that needs to be mentioned is that parking can be a problem as slots are minimal and no waiting area for companions.

Very bad service i got from payyanur passport office i told the guy that i have flight on 6 o clok i requested him that we already came early and he didnt allow me to go and he stoped me from outside
