Roha Ashtami Municipal Council, with population of about 21 thousand is Roha sub district's only municipal council located in ROHA sub district of Raigarh district in the state Maharashtra in india. Total geographical area of Roha Ashtami municipal council is 2 km2. Population density of the city is 12192 persons per km2. There are 17 wards in the city, among them Roha ashtami ward no 9 is the most populous ward with population of 1763 and Roha ashtami ward no 7 is the least populous ward with population of 810. Nearest railway station is Roha which is within the city. Roha Ashtami is the sub district head quarter of the city. District head quarter of the city is Alibag which is 50 km away. Greater Mumbai is the state head quarter of the city and is 120 km far from here. Yearly average rainfall of the city is 2164.5 mm. Maximum temperature here reaches up to 36.7degC and minimum temperature goes down to 13.5degC. Hindus contribute 67% of the total population and are the largest religious community in the city followed by Muslims which contribute 27% of the total population and Jains are the third largest religious community here with 3% population all other religious communities contribute 3% of the total population. Female Sex ratio per 1000 male in Hindus are 967 in Muslims are 978 and in Jains are 863 As of 2011 census there are 969 females per 1000 male in the city. Sex ratio in general caste is 966, in schedule caste is 1066 and in schedule tribe is 1007. There are 936 girls under 6 years of age per 1000 boys of the same age in the city. Overall sex ratio in the city has increased by 37 females per 1000 male during the years from 2001 to 2011. Child sex ratio here has increased by 77 girls per 1000 boys during the same time.

The contact number is not working...worst service they are providing as they showing they don't care anymore about residentials . And garbage collectors are the worst workers not coming to collect garbage everyday after two days or alternatively coming to collect it..how pathetic this is .
