Don't go with those negative reviews.... superb fast job done.. I went to RTO after uploading all required documents online on 11th feb for renewal and address change in DL..The madam in verification counter took 5 mins to approve and 2 minutes to click photo ..bas within 10 mins all work done.. On 13th i received a msg that your DL is generated and can be downloaded from digilocker..and really can't beleive it happened within 2 days without any hassle.. Thanks RTO mohali for such a superb service and maintaining such cleanliness.

I visited the rto recently on December 2025 and the modification it has made was superb. New office has been made and cleanliness has been ensured. This time it was maintained well. Good job punjab government

You can see other detailed reviews about how ill-maintained this place is but I will upload the latest pictures and you can see yourself. But in short this place is extremely far and like a bhool bhulaiya if you aren't aware of Mohali/Tricity. Huge rush, can take almost 5-6 hours just to get your driving slot. Please try to reach here as early as possible, especially in summers. If your slot is between 9 to 11, reach here by 9 itself, trust me you'll feel relieved to get your work done less slower(very slow working). Matlab yeh typical Government office se bhi zyada slow hai, bahut hi dheeli and uncoordinated working. Normal Public is literally suffering. Although the staff is quite helpful but technologically primitive. Don't expect to get your work done faster if your expect it to be.

3 times we have give the test but they just want people to spend money i have personaly seen the test of my wife n counted the time but they just want to earn money n they give wrong result .shame on u

Worst experience. The officers are mindless they only take cars driving test first and then of two wheelers you have to wait until all the 4 wheelers test is completed. I visited the office during monsoon the main entrance doesn't have a proper road. The road is very muddy and slushy during rainy season cars can pass it easily but the main problem for 2 wheelers the tyres slip and person may fall and do check the given photos you will get to know about the place more.

I liked their behavior and they also told me the further process that you have to submit the derabassi file, they spoke to me respectfully and so did I.

Perfect example of Pathetic Indian government office working style. Sheer nuisance minded workers who are really not bothered to talk even. Seriously a doubt on their schooling and upbringing as they don't even know how to talk. They will keep waiting you for whole day until they feel themselves comfortable to take your test. Kindly take whole day off and bring your food & water with you while having appointment here. Mindless working style.

Staff came on time, quick document check for DL renewal and quick closure. Very pleased.
