Extremely poor experience at this POPSK. The staff member (female officer) was incredibly rude, unpolite, and unprofessional. She was not responding to basic queries and refused to provide necessary information regarding the passport process. It is very frustrating to be treated with such hostility when visiting a government office for an essential service. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs immediate attention from the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) Hyderabad. I hope management takes action to ensure staff are trained in basic courtesy and helpfulness.

Had a Hassle free and seemless experience here. You will face zero problems if you bring all the documents (originals) with Xerox copies of each. Essential documents are 1. SSC memo 2. AADHAR card 3. Old passport (for reissue) Make sure that your current address matches the one in aadhar.

I went to passport office in mbnr... They received me very polite and humble way... Verification officer was suggesting good within 15min I have completed my passport...

After reading all the reviews I felt I had a great experience here. Everything went well smooth and fast. It was afternoon slot. I would definitely refer this place as it is very close to the bus station, on the highway, can be easily located. Preferably compared to Nizamabad and other farther passport kendras where the work goes smoother without any hurdles.

I visited PSK on 080825 at 9:45 AM. The entire process completed within 10 min. For major passport applicants need the address proof document and date of birth certificate. During application, which ever documents mentioned should be show at the PSK. In my case only ssc memo and aadhar is sufficient. But aadhar should be full length with signature verified on it. There is one xerox centre near by PSK. They take the print out for aadhar with signature verified. My police verification also completed successfully. Required documents mentioned in portal should be enough. Thank you.

Extremely Disappointing Experience. I had one of the worst experiences ever at Passport Seva Kendra, Mahabubnagar. The verification staff section at the entrance was highly unprofessional and unhelpful. There was zero coordination among the employees, and even basic questions were met with rude responses or complete ignorance. I have went for minor passport appointment. Verification section at entrance doesn't know anything about the documents. Neither he is allowing to go inside and speak to officer for clarification. Simply denying by telling that rules are changed and he isn't clarifying the situations. Humble request to Passport Seva to keep trained employees for smooth functioning of application procedures. Most frustrating was the attitude of the officials -- arrogant, careless, and unwilling to help. Documents were rejected without any explanation, and there was no clarity on the next steps. It's shocking that such an important service is being handled with such inefficiency and apathy. If you can, go to another PSK -- Mahabubnagar's center is a complete nightmare.

Efficient- If you are prepared I visited POPSK Mahabubnagar for a fresh passport application and found the process to be smoother than many reviews suggest. If you come prepared, things move quickly. Documents to Carry for Fresh Passport Issue: * Aadhaar card (original & Xerox) * SSC memo (original & Xerox) * No need to bring passport size photos--they'll take your picture at the center. I applied online with Aadhaar and PAN for address and date of birth, but the verifier specifically asked for the SSC memo and Aadhaar for Non-ECR category applicants. Luckily, I had my originals, but needed to step out for Xerox copies. There are Xerox shops opposite Prashant Residency, just 5mins across the road. The process itself took about 10 minutes once I had all the required documents. I noticed that those who came without the necessary paperwork (like parents' passports for minors, SSC memo, or PAN card) were simply asked to reschedule. The staff aren't rude, but they strictly follow the document checklist and don't go out of their way to help if you're missing something. Tips: * If your name matches on both Aadhaar and SSC memo, you shouldn't face any issues. * Address should match on passport application and aadhaar * You don't need a printout of your passport application; showing the SMS confirmation is enough. * For address, I could only fit house number and apartment name in the form--verifiers said that was sufficient. * Parking is limited (3-4 cars), but you can park by the roadside next to the building. The center isn't usually crowded. * Traffic near the bus stand is heavy in the morning (8:30-9:30 AM) and evenings, so plan to arrive early. * The process is mostly first-come, first-served; staff are flexible with timing if the center isn't busy. For Minors & Students: * Minors require additional documents--check the list and bring everything. * Students who don't have their SSC memo (if it's with the college) can bring a letter from the college instead. I carried extra documents (Voter ID, PAN, Driving License) just in case, but Aadhaar and SSC memo were sufficient for me. Overall, the experience was straightforward if you have all the required documents. Staff are efficient, but not particularly accommodating if you're unprepared. Hope this helps!
