Recently visited the RTO office for a new vehicle registration, and the entire process was simple and quick. We reached around 10:50 AM and were done by 11:30 AM. If the vehicle is under a loan, make sure you carry all the documents provided by the dealer, including the ones with the required stamp and signature. Step 1: Submit your documents at Counter 2 for verification. They will check the papers and give you an acknowledgement along with the copies you submitted. Step 2: Once verification is complete, proceed to the counter where your photo is captured. After the photo process, go to the parking area where your new vehicle is kept. Step 3: Find the police constable/officer and request them to inspect your vehicle. They usually ask for the chassis number and will have you trace the chassis number onto your documents. That's all. The process is very straightforward. If you prefer not to handle Step 3 yourself, you can hire an agent for 1500. The agent will only take care of the vehicle inspection part; Steps 1 and 2 must still be done by you. If you're doing it yourself, remember to carry a pencil for tracing the chassis number.

I was told that my RC card will be received through post but it never came. On enquiry they shamelessly asked me to visit the RTO without any explanation. Saturdays, they are closed. Advised to take a day's leave and visit for your own RC card, not sure it will be handovered Or not. Worst public service by Telangana government.

Went for registering a vehicle purchased from other state. First day the person on system/counter said I have to visit multiple times for other state vehicle registration and checked my documents and asked me to bring Vehicle invoice which I don't have. He suggested atleast I should bring any estimated price of the vehicle of that make and year from Mahindra Showroom. I apprached agents here outside ,and no one can help without invoice here, even if I would pay money. In a way this patancheru RTA seems to be strict. Somehow I reached previous owner and luckily got the invoice copy. Other documents needed/asked from me are 1.Invoice of vehicle 2.NOC (I took downloaded copy from parivahan) , Form 28 3.Form 29 (2 copies which is Notice by seller) 4. Form 30(Which is Notice by buyer) 5.Form 27 (new registration application) 6. Vehicle insurance copy 7. Pollution certificate 8. Photo with vehicle (I have color printer ,so took couple of color prints with vehicle) Once all above documents ready, vehicle inspection officer will do firness check, seems they are mostly available before till afternoon. Officers are friendly and completed inspection without any hurdles. All above documents are added with an acknowledgement and we have to pencil mark(paper on chasis number and scrambling with pencil for its print on paper) chasis number on this paper, bit difficult with pinned docs but done. Vahan document, which is vehicle specification will be needed here, that is a print out to be given by one of the counter/system guys, they are always busy with big queues, and he provided document after asking me to wait some time. This document has the model make weight dimensions etc . Along with this nd vehicle inspector signed acknowledgement now most hard part is done. Next steps: 9. Tax amount here ,DD in the name of 'S/RTA SANGAREDDY' , Counter guy said other than SBI icrisat branch and one other bank, any other bank DD are accepted For me vehicle shows 2018 regsitered 9.7 lakh. As per their calculation sheet, my tax is 97k. So for same amount I have paid and got DD next day 10. After submitting DD and rest of the documents, now I was asked to book a slot (initially slot will be not available for other state vehicle numbers, at this stage they seems to open the access Selected Transfer of ownership and booked a slot for the next day. 11.Slot (Transfer of ownership), Buyer should be physically present as they take our signature and photo This slot costed me (Application fee 300 Late fee (for 3 months approx) 1500 smart card 200 Service Charge 940 Postal Charge 35 Almost 3k) I booked last slot ,which generally closes at 2pm ,as of today, and it is easy step, they took my pic and sign and gave me acknowledgement (Acknowledgement of tax and slot) When leaving they said for Telangana number I can book/apply new number assignment slot only after 45 days. Next day in Mwallet I am able to download RC with my name, with other state number ------------------------------------------ I would have never purchased other state vehicle ,if i have known earlier this process, good I didn't know. Only reason for giving positive rating is : These system/Counter/desk persons are really working hard and completing all slots ,some time servers hang and till late afternoon they close all slot booked public and then proceed to their lunch. In their job they just can't talk friendly, i guess. And officers are good. I didn't pay any one extra money.

Near to ORR. And very close to patancheru town. A large open palace.. for parkings... Good environment around it..

The worst looking RTO I've seen ,No waiting area,No guards ,No sign boards at tracks, Tracks are in worst conditon but on the bright side there is no rush here about 4 or people in que, don't go for brokers here cause they are of no use they'll simply tell stand in que which you'll do anyway after booking your required slot. Fresh Driving Licence, Renewal of Driving Licence, Registration of vechile, Transfer of Owner, Hypothecation Cancellation, Hypothecation, Duplicate registration certificate, Renewal of registration certificate, Duplicate Driving Licence, NOC within the state. *Kindly carry a water bottle.

Worst government office experience ever. If you visit without an agent, no one cares to help or guide you. Every minor detail is scrutinized endlessly. But if you come through an agent, everything is adjusted, and the process is conveniently fast-tracked. This practice of "agent culture" at the RTO has practically become an unofficial employment system that the government seems to be supporting. This must change. Authorities should ensure that clear, updated information is made available both on the official website and at the office premises, so that citizens know exactly what documents or details are required. Please read and share this review widely so that it reaches the officials responsible for bringing accountability and reform to this broken system.

Worst worst waiting time is too long Lazy working employees No chairs to sit We need to be in the ground where sun drinks our energy with a straw.
