Third class service i went to popsk amethi for passport reissue from ayodhya travelling far in rain take off from work ,my time was of 2.30 and I reached before time and gave my appointment slip to them .keep a note of it after waiting for several hours when my number came at the end what they said is your residence is in ayodhya so better take appointment in ayodhya .I mean why is this painstaking problem in government department,we are working in private company running here and there after taking off from work travelling right from my work area to home place and then from there to appointment centre.Why they dnt check before hand if it falls in their centre or not .please please better you should take appointment in lucknow then amethi or anywhere. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN AMETHI TRUST ME.And please dnt keep those type of unprofessional people.

Very bad for new passport appointment because here officers always rejected applications and always demanded new documents, if you are submitting one documents he demanded new others, so am finally suggested you go now if you are in power other wise you go now Lucknow office for new appointment

Very poor service. There is no punctuality, and the internet service is terrible. There is only one greedy person working there, and most of the time, the office is closed even during working hours. The office in charge is often busy chatting with people and asks for bribes to complete work. This department is completely corrupt within our government services. I applied for a passport and went there for a physical appearance. I didn't have my school documents because they are submitted to my college and, due to COVID-19, I couldn't retrieve them. I asked if it was possible to complete the process without the original documents, offering a scanned PDF instead. He told me to wait 10 minutes but returned after an hour and said, "Give me 2000 rupees, and I'll complete your process." He claimed it was a cheap offer, saying it usually costs 4-5 thousand rupees. What a disgraceful attitude. I told him he should be ashamed of himself and accused him of misusing his position. He replied, "It's not that easy. You need connections at higher levels. Not everyone has the reach. We take risks to get things done." I left in frustration. This is our government system. I request the passport department to please pay attention and take strict action against such practices.

To day i visit pasport seva kendra Amethi No one here to inform to the public server not available i I'll travel 69 km for coming.to book apointment but then I come i shee door is locked Staff are not available . I I'll took with others person hi is also come for apointment I said that where is staff hi is saying there is server is not available he is going to home but this is not fare public come for lose over work for his work

The service was not good, when I visited that place for my passport work recently, there was an issue with the internet. And it was behind the post office and there was no sign board for directions, no fan outside for people waiting or come with an applicant, rest everything was good.
