Akandakeshari Post Office

Post man today came for delivery of passport I was waiting as I was knowing that my passport will be delivered today waited until 1pm after that I came to office giving all documents my old passport my Aadhar card and my application form so that if he comes he can verify and handover the passport and unfortunately same thing happened he cane at 2.30 pm and after showing all papers he refused to give passport and very rude over phone in request. He threatens to send back to passport office even I requested that I can come in an hour. This kind of attitude is it expected .

This is the first time I have seen such an important place being neglected so much. I will come to the reason of giving 5 star later. It is located at a narrow road of Akandakeshari. You can approach the place from New Town road or Akandakeshari Road. However, if you are driving from Sapoorji Pallonji Bus stand then take the Akandakeshari road, then cross the small bridge - sedan car can be driven through it. Approaching road is extremely narrow like village road. The post office is a small one room place and cannot be recognized from outside unless specified. The reason I gave 5 star is because of the importance of the place in our life. The office is operated by two humble gentlemen Mr Soumen Mondal and Mr Saktipada Chatterjee. They are very well behaved person and very cooperative. New Town Action Area III, Akandakeshari is in real need of a decent (atleast) Post Office. If this review is being read by any concerned official, it is a humble request to provide a place which is still so important for us. Important documents like passport, adhaar card and all other government documents being sent via Indian Postal Service. The surrounding is having so posh, high-end building and communities like Sapoorji Sukhobrishti, Elita Garden Vista, DLF New Heights, and other upcoming high-rises then this kind of Post Office is not desirable. It is a shame! 5 star is given to enforce the importance of this place which is neglected by the Central Government. Pls it is a request to bring a proper Post Office in the area. Thank you.

Worst service ever. Then marked delivered without delivering it. Postman don't know the urgency of speed post.

This post office is serving customers by true responsibility. Every staff are humble and try to give better service everytime. Must visit Akandakeshari post office and take all benefits of central government postal schemes.

They don't deliver speed post almost for 5 days and marked the item as delivered.
