The postal service rarely delivers important letters or documents unless they are sent via Speed Post. Very disappointing experience, especially with ATM cards -- they are never delivered and are eventually returned to the bank, ended up paying 500 each time.

This Post Office is situated beside District Judge Court Road, Tamluk. It is the Head Post Office of East Medinipur. Infact, Indian Post Payment Bank is available here but all service is too slow. Infrastructure is average acceptable.

Just a bitt better than other sub post offices in tamluk & nearby... Nothing much..

The work force is very low in comparison to the number of customers. Yet to adopt proper digital systems. Most of the counters found closed due to the want of manpower. You have to wait for 2/3 hours for small work.

Went to update mobile number to aadhar. It's one of the easiest job to be done, but took my whole day, but still job not done. I waited there for 4 hours, then one servant of India Post came and told us (people in the queue) that they will serve only till 2pm at 1:30pm. From morning, the server was down according to them. The Digital India is really appreciable. I would love to do it by myself online.

This is headoffice in tamluk...nice and clean environment..

Head post office of East midnapore. The employees behavior and service is very poor. Need to change this system.
