It was a very bad experience. didn't do any office work or talk properly.

SDM Office main gate on the Malll road Manali. The building location is excellent.

The premise is left side of the Mall Road. You will find all type of public offices here. Staff is very helpful. I went there to update my Adhar card it took them a little time but I was not sent empty handed. An over all good experience.

Once you enter Manali near to the Mall road where the SDM office is located to procure the permit. The permit is issued free of cost after submitting an application (available at the photocopy shops in the vicinity) along with the copies of the car registration certificate and driving license.

It's not easy to generate rohtang pass permit as locals already booked the permit. We were going to spiti and we had to pay extra for beyond rohtang permit. It is your luck if you get one directly from the office.
