Post Office Passport Seva Kendra Mandi

I recently visited the post office for passport services, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and clear instructions on what to do. The employee assisting me went above and beyond to ensure I had everything in order, even taking the time to answer a few questions I had. Their professionalism and kind demeanour made the process smooth and stress-free. It was a fast, friendly, and reliable service!

If you have all the required documents with you at the time of appointment. There will be no issues for your passport issuance. I've seen people come with incomplete documentation and arguing with POPSK staff for rejecting their application. The whole staff is doing great job. I've come all way back from Punjab for my passport re-issue application. Whole process done within 30 mins. Things to keep in mind before you travel to Mandi or any other POPSK in Himachal, - If you're from Punjab and having re-issue application please bring your 10th original mark sheet. - If you're changing your name please have the name change notice published in Hindi and English newspaper instead of Punjabi and English. - Make sure your Adhaar Card has recent photograph on it. - Bring PAN card with you. I had a difficult experience with a passport officer who displayed rude behavior. They didn't communicate properly with applicants, which made the process more stressful than it needed to be. It's important for officials to be respectful and helpful, especially in situations where people may already feel anxious.

The passport office of District Mandi H.P. is situated at the same place of Main Post office Mandi. The office starts early at 9:00 am as per the appointment provided. There are better sitting facilities available for the customers. Staff behaviour is not so good. Printing facilities are available outside the post office.

The location of the Passport office is at a very congested place with negligible parking. The staff lacks procedural knowledge and are more interested in creating problems rather than calmly addressing them. Lacks comfortable seating and basic amenities. The dealing assistants need to be well educated, more experienced and more understanding!

Location of the office is in very narrow street. Difficult to locate. Staff is not co-operative, rude behaviour. No proper arrangements for seating and cooling system.

Staff of passport office act like we borrowed something from them, I reached over there 25 minutes late from my appointment time because of road slides and they treated me like I done any crime and even they told me to reschedule the appointment. The staff was awfull and treat people like nothing. All they want to hold there nose up and expect that we have to please them and call them" sir " . Don't know what kinda attitude they are holding with them, without any reason.

Report on time atleast before 15 minutes from your appt. timings. Keep your documents in order.If you have all the original documents along with Xerox copies,the guy sitting in first cabin from entrance he will tell you to take Xerox again from outside (with unwanted reasons like Xerox is black,photo is not clear etc.) I have noticed they will send you atleast two times for the Xerox just to earn some commission from outside vendor and also the scanner and printers in office are outdated. They even not accepting original print of Aadhar card which is taken from government website.
