Went for PCC, the process was smooth and people were helpful. Just one advice that staff was not present in their seats and just roaming here and there chit chatting. It delayed the process so pls tell them to start working on time but overall good experience.

If you are applying for a passport in a state other than your permanent address (especially in Delhi), please be very careful with documents. Even if your application contains only your permanent address, the Passport Office may still demand present address proof. In many cases, the original rent agreement is strictly required and photocopies are not accepted. A bank passbook with local address and bank stamp on the photo may also be asked for. The main processing staff inside is generally supportive and professional, but the token-issuing staff is very unsupportive and unhelpful, which can be frustrating. However, the ladies standing at the gate were very polite, cooperative, and guided applicants nicely on where to stand and how to get a token, which was appreciated. Proper preparation is essential to avoid delays or repeat visits.

I had not imagined that this would be so smooth. It was a Great experience. The guard at the entry gate on the Ground Floor was cooperative and even allowed my wife to go to the first floor main PSK centre to use the toilet, even before appointment time entry. The female security person at the 1st-floor entry gate was also courteous. As soon as you enter in 1st small hall (It has 4 queue counters and a photocopy counter), there are 2 queues for document checks for all kinds of applicants (Though the signboard on these counters says Tatkaal). For a fresh normal passport, you only have to carry a printout of the Appointment Receipt, 1 Address proof, 1 DOB proof and a 10th/12th pass certificate (For Non-ECR passport...You must opt for Non-ECR passport if you are a 10th pass). Document check is quite fast and only takes around 3-5 minutes, then you get the token number from the adjacent counter. Now move to the next hall, which houses A counters (A1-A9). The staff on these counters are from TCS and are extremely polite, soft spoken and cooperative. They will scan all original documents, take fingerprints, click your photo, and you can also re-check the details filled in the form, and corrections could also be made if required. This all process takes around 5-8 minutes, and then you move to the last hall, which houses B Counters (B1-B4), C Counters (C1-C3) and APO-1 office. Staff on these counters are from the Passport Department of the Government of India. All documents will be reverified at the assigned B counter, and if any document is missing, you will be redirected to the same A counter for scanning that missing document, and then you will come back to the same B counter. (Pls. note...If you are not carrying an important document, then you will be given a next appointment for some other date at this B counter). After that, you will be sent to the C counters for final check, and it only takes 2 minutes here, and your job is done. You can leave from the exit gate in this hall. Overall time spent at this PSK for me was around 25 minutes, as this was a 9:30 am appointment today.

Most unhelpful set of people. No streamline manner of working whatsoever. Wasted 3 hours of my time because nobody was able to properly able to guide me and only created confusion the entire 3 hours. They talk very rudely and unprofesionally. Worst

I would give them a 5 star honestly - i applied online got the appointment, documents check was quick, they only had to call me next time with education documents, the very next day police verification was complete, and i received my passport the next day after that! Everything was just super quick! Thank youuu

The lady on c3 is very rude and unprofessional, it felt she is personally targeting applicants, my passport renewal application was rejected on the absurd ground that my marriage certificate was "not stamped by SDM", even though it is an official government-issued certificate downloaded from the Delhi Government portal and digitally signed by the SDM. The issuing SDM office itself confirmed that the document is legally valid and does NOT require any physical seal or additional attestation, the same is also mentioned on the document. Yet, PSK staff arbitrarily imposed their own undocumented rules, completely ignoring the validity of a digitally signed government document.This reflects poor training and zero accountability. She was so rude and not at all helpful. Please teach some manners specially to the lady on counter C . PSK needs to get its staff strained so they wouldn't invent their own law for document varification.

Excellent and pleasant experience in a government office i. e. PSK Def col.Took less than thirty minutes.. for renewal of my passport. And by the time I came down stairs. Received text message that passport granted post police verification. Police verification took place very next day and got passport by speed post yesterday. Just four days... Can't believe I am in the same country where it took half day at PSK... and another fifteen days to receive the renewed passport. Definitely India has come long way.. where government machinery runs so smoothly without greasing the palm. Great experience

In & out within an hour. And 1 week before visiting this passport office, I visited the Jhandewalan PSK and it was a pathetic experience (you can read my review). This was a different experience altogether. The staff, right from the guard sahab (Arinder ji) to the lady who checks the appointment right at the main door (Usha ji) to the people handling everything, they were all very well spoken, well behaved and the entire process of reissue application went extremely well. If you have to get your passport done in Tatkaal, please go here & not to Jhandewalan. There, you'd be extremely disappointed.
