The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) office on Shahjahan Road, Delhi, is a well-maintained and organized facility, known for its pivotal role in conducting India's most prestigious civil service exams. The building exudes a formal and professional ambiance, catering to thousands of aspirants each year who visit for various administrative processes related to the UPSC exams. The location is easily accessible, and the staff is generally helpful, guiding candidates through procedures related to the exam application and interview stages. The strict security measures and systematic approach reflect the importance of the commission's function in the country.

It's a place where so many dreams either comes true or completely shatter.

UPSC examination hall has its own aura. the halls are big and the compound is clean. For examinees, make sure you're coming with your own tiffin box as the place outside has a few roadside eateries but their hygiene remains questionable. I've also attached a video of the place just outside the gate you may look for it in the 'photos' option. Although there is an analog wall clock in every hall, you may choose to take a wrist watch for better visibility. (If you've spectacles) Additionally, you need to submit your mobile phones in the yellow envelopes provided by them on which you need to mention your roll numbers and note the serial no. of the envelope on your admit card. DO NOT PUT YOU MOBILES EVEN IN THE BAG as the bag remains with you upto the entrance of exam hall. TIP: Try to rush to the mobile collection point as soon as the exam is over or you might have to stand in long queues for max an hour. All the best for your exam :) EDIT 1 : (A few changes after an year) 1. Now, there is a baggage scanner in place. Make sure to submit even the smallest of electrical equipment in the envelope or they will return you again. (As small as short data cables too are not allowed) 2. A new fruit chaat shop has opened outside. You may enjoy that. And yes, this time I rushed to the baggage counter to save myself an hour of waiting time :) Chalo, all the best again guys :) Don't forget to get down at Khan Market Metro Station Gate No. 1 for easy reach.

Just 700-800 metre away from India Gate. There is a royal wibe, many upsc aspirants have dreams to come here, this is a royal commission which gives best officers to our country.

Infrastructure is good. Nearest metro station to reach here is khan market metro station.

The nearest Metro station, Khan Market (violet Line) is just 700 meters away. You can take a walk or auto to reach the UPSC building. India Gate is also nearby.
