I had a pleasant experience while submitting a social visa application in person with complete documents 2 pp size Photos DD for RS.3500/- invitation letter from my relatives both in English and Burmese. I submitted the application on Monday (1000hrs to 1100 hrs) I was given a receipt (token with my Passport No.) and asked to come on Wednesday at 1600 hrs sharp with another document relating to the Family members card of the inviting member (my cousin who is a Burmese citizen); that is within 2 days I returned to the counter presenting the additional document required. Immediately at 1600 hrs I was issued with the 70 days social visa stuck on my passport. I did every thing on my own without an agent got the visa on the third day with perfectly completed documents. Saturday and Sunday are holidays apart from national holidays. Application receipt time is within 10-11am as on the day of my visit in November 2018. The only additional cost is due to my personal visit to Delhi .. but the process was the fastest within 54 hours with safety of documents and free from the agent's error in documentation, addresses & facts. I am happy with my nostalgic memory to visit my birth place after 53 years. One can speak in Hindi or in English with the counter officer. I believe that this information will be useful for those who wish to submit their application in person.
