India post

After collecting the package i got a call next day from someone claiming to be from post office stating that i had to pay some custom duty, which amazingly customs themselves denied and suggested me to file a cyber crime report. I don't know how my number got leaked and why i had to go and collect my package which was supposed to be delivered at home.

I had a good experience at this post office, the staff were all ladies and they helped me with my queries efficiently. And do book my post it happened within minutes. (Depends on the rush hour) And more importantly this is the best post office in these sectors (80-100), like I visited 5-6 post offices earlier where they don't take the post atall (they only do delivery) and offices are at so narrow lanes inside the villages and so dirty. So for me after going to so many different post offices and reading the reviews, it came as a pleasant surprise that this one was far better compared to all others

After reading all negative reviews, there appears to be some improvement and the 3 star is for that. The staff has been replaced with all women staff. The lady at the counter was a pleasant surprise, well spoken, polite, patient and dealt with customers in a proper manner. This came as a shock but a good one. The other two stars - India Post doesn't accept digital payment and the govt wants other countries to use it!!! And despite multiple tweets in the last few years, no change. Secondly, the centre can be better maintained with atleast the Aircon working properly for the staff!! It's the same broken Aircon that I saw about a year back. Fail to understand why "government" cannot get things right ever with some basics.

Rude staff behavior. They don't work after 12 afternoon. Accepts parcel as if they are doing favor on us. Typical government staff behavior.

I really don't want to waste even single star on these sec-81 delivery staff. Their delivery staff is slacker. They never attempt deliveries and just post fake messages. This is my third experience. There is a hardly 500m distance of my place from the post office but they don't want to deliver the courier.

Not happy with service, my courier was supposed to deliver yesterday and I got message as well that item has been delivered but typical Indian government personnel behaviour. Today I need to go in person and has collected my parcel. This is not good . Happy to see Indian post office functional in new gurgaon sectors

Definitely in the top worst services in india. Nobody will call you or notify you about your items, they keep it with themselves for few days and consistently return the items to the sender. I have not received any of my items in last 1 year. Now i make sure the items i ordered are not sent through india post

Very poor...staff does not have manners to speak....Even though I came to open post office account at 12:13 on Saturday...they refused..... saying work will be done till 12:00 p.m. only.....
