Bistupur Head Post Office

I recently visited the Head Post Office in Bistupur, and it's conveniently located near Regal Chowk. The office offers a comprehensive range of services including regular postal, speedpost, savings bank, LED light distributions, railway ticketing, and even features a post office ATM for added convenience. While the services provided are commendable, there is room for a slight improvement in maintenance. The office tends to get quite busy on working days, and particularly so before special occasions, which is a testament to its popularity. Overall, it's a vital hub for postal services, and with a touch of enhanced upkeep, it would be even more stellar.

Next to SBI Main Branch.. Huge post office with huge rush.. I think it's the biggest post office of Jamshedpur afterall it's a head office. I visited today on 06th Feb 2024. I have some work regarding maturity of PLI.. So, the counter is on the front of the post office where u can avail all normal services of post Office like speed post, Deposit, Monthly premium etc but if you have some other issue or related to maturity of PLI or other services u have to go to the back side of the post office building. The way is from the right side,there is a gate, have to go straight and u can see the door on the left hand side(same door of post office passport seva kendra) and there u will find the staircase. Earlier the PLI office is on the first floor I think but now it's on the Second floor.

The post office is located at a prime location. Its built up in big open area. Ample paid parking space is available. Post office provides all services. Im addition it also provides aadhar update facility and passport seva kendra. Paid packaging service is additionally available.

Head P.O , Bistupur offers multi-service to customers. Apart from the mundane activities of P.O, added services such as atm of p.o, railway reservations, aadhar card enrollment & updation & if bored due to a long queue, recharge yourself at the snacks centre right at the entrance of p.o.. Needless to mention one old person at the road side who packs the parcels well with cloth and gala. Photo has been attached.

Good service , staff behaviour is good , sometime we have to wait in line ,but okay

Aadhar update is done here. Tokens are given from 9 AM and only 25 people receive token in a day as of March 2025. People are in queue for Aadhar since 3:30-4 AM.

Overall ok, well facilities available, speed post available
