I waited for over 25 minutes due to a network issue. While I was waiting patiently, another person who seemed to know the employee at the counter walked in and was served immediately before me. When I asked why, I was told, Why did you knock the box? You are disturbing other customers. I would like to clarify that while I may have knocked lightly, it was not loud or disruptive. Even if it had been, do you think the other customers would have remained quiet? Using this as an excuse for prioritizing someone else over me feels unfair. The way I was spoken to was unprofessional, and I would like to know if this is how customers are usually treated. The lady at the first counter, who was sitting right in front of the door, was the one who behaved in this manner.

Kushal Nagar post office is one of the most distinctive landlmarks of this little town. The post office is located at the very beginning of the Mysore road which is otherwise called B.M.Road. The are a few hotels of economy variety on this road. The restaurants on this locality serve Kerala style meat and fish dishes. There is one road to the Kauvery river which is called ''River Road''. This road begins from the post office and ends at the Ayyappa Temple overlooking the bathing ghat in the river.
