Passport Seva Kendra, Mangaluru

I had visited the Passport Seva Kendra, Mangaluru (paaspoortt se+vaa ke+Ndr, mNglluuru) for my PCC, and it was a very smooth experience. The process was quick, the staff were polite and helpful, and the overall environment was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the availability of clean washrooms. Very satisfied with the service!

I went to do a passport renewal for my senior parent just regular not Tatkal (from previous experience 3 yrs ago Tatkal seems to be more tedious). Filled the application online and brought self attested copies of appointment, passport, Aadhaar and pan. Finished everything within 10 minutes. Come exactly 15 min before your appointment and if you are accompanying or are a senior citizen mention that to the security guard. Senior citizens are given preference. We weren't asked to show copies of older passports but do keep copies and originals with you as this depends on the officer some times. And yes just bring your own pen always, I've seen arguments happen on this topic. All in all it was a fast experience and I appreciate it.

Why the public servents are in this office are so GRUMPY!!! One small error, i was trying my best to fix it and they are acting like I did some kind of blunder, talking so rudely. I felt really insulted(Especially A and B counters) Overall process was quick(could be its Tatkal) and some staffs were quite helpful. We understand the work pressure, but pls understand, it's everywhere, we all are sailing in the same boat. My suggestion: In the online appointment letter, Please clearly specify all the documents and other requirements, so that applicants are well prepared.

had a very bad experience at the passport office when I went to apply for my three-month-old baby's passport. It took more than an hour to complete multiple application forms. There was no proper space or facility for infants. The staff at Counter B were very rude. They did not speak the local language and were not even willing to communicate properly in English. On top of that, they were not polite while speaking with customers.

Very bad experience I have got the b2 lady was very badly did injustice to me. She check my documents she make rescheduled without informing and she tell go C counter. I was waiting C counter very long like 2 hour . Then I ask staff . Why my token didn't show number the staff check my token tell me j have rescheduled date . Ok that's fi e for rescheduled the b2 counter lady should informing to me right? B2 counter lady make my time no value . Should be removed this lady . And tech discipline

The passport office here has been the same for years, small and crowded with barely any improvements. I had visited about 8 years ago for my own passport, and when I came again recently for my two kids (4 years and 8 months old), it felt exactly the same. It was quite crowded and there's hardly any space to sit comfortably. The staff keep shouting out numbers, which makes the place noisy and stressful, especially when you have small kids with you. There's no diaper changing area for infants or toddlers, no canteen for basic refreshments, and no prayer room either, even though many people wait there for hours. Counter A was quick and efficient, but counters B and C took hours to process. The staff are cooperative and doing their best, but the management system definitely needs an upgrade. Overall, it really feels like the place needs a serious upgrade to make it more family-friendly and comfortable for everyone.

Had a good experience at Passport Seva Kendra in Mangalore. The process was smooth, and staff at all three counters (A, B, and C) were polite and helpful. Waiting area is available for the people who accompany us, which is useful. Parking is limited, so it's better to use public transport. Come 15 to 30 minutes early to avoid any last-minute issues. Carry one pen and one Xerox copy of all required documents. Xerox facility is also available inside if needed. If your documents are ready, the whole process takes around an hour. Overall, the center is well-managed and professional.
