Head Post office Cherthala Kochi

A very busy place overall, as it is the head post office. The speed post service is very efficient even though there can be long queues. People are very helpful in providing proper guidance and support. A special mention to the post master himself, who has been very helpful and supportive. Also, the person at speed post is very helpful even though it can be very stressful for him to handle a long queue. The patience that all of them shows is incredible. Overall it has been a very pleasant experience and kudos to all the staff members, for making available all the services. Being a very busy place there can be long queues at times. Some procedures like international parcel may take longer to complete, since they go beyond their job role to ensure that there would be no issues during customs clearance etc. Hence they check the content and also ask people to fill the proper codes on the box which is useful for customs clearances at both countries.

I visited the Cherthala post office today to update my Aadhaar details and had a great experience. The staff was very professional, and I received excellent service. Soniya Johny, who was handling the process, worked with remarkable dedication and efficiency, making everything smooth and hassle-free. Officials like her truly enhance our government system, and I wish every department had such committed individuals. Kudos to her and the team for their outstanding service!

The worst post office I've ever been. Lots of counters, they open only one. The guy there acts as if he owns it! Takes 30 minutes for a speed post to be billed. Moreover once the que reaches him, he says speed post counter closes by 2:30 PM. What is the point in opening the Head post office till 5 PM. Such useless guys should be thrown out of government offices.

Same dusty, lazy and lousy atmosphere, blinking tube lights. I could see some employees shouting at customers. Everything is simply thrown at the customer. For ex: Passbooks or balance amount after booking a registered post etc. To send a speed post it took around 30 minutes time. The post office is filled with COLOURS textiles parcel. They have huge number of couriers to be sent and others need to wait. Time to shift gears to avoid the BSNL route. Whocares! But anyways employees are super safe no matter what they do. Enjoying with poor tax payers money and in return, the tax payer get nothing. No sanitizer in a government office but outside I could hear muncipality message over a loud speaker that the covid count is increasing etc.

This is the head post office of Cherthala.The office is located near Thaluk office.Easily visible to all.The building is old and has two stories.The ground floor is used for the public and the first floor is for other offices works.While talking about the service they rendered is stamp vending, receiving post articles plus a Saving bank activity is also functions in side the office.

Quick service. The lady in the stamp, speed post counter is very helpful. The same lady helps you clear your queries too.

Easily accessible, little bit public rush, but staff attended with pleasing manner
