My rating is for the attitude of the officials here. I personally have no grudges over the postal department or india post. In fact, i try to support india post in the best way i can. My mom had a savings account here. I had heard her complaining about the services rendered at this post iffice whenever she went to interact with them regarding this account. She even tried to change the account to the post office in our village, but she couldn't for some reason. So, today I went with my mom and dad (both senior citizens) to close this account for well and good. And believe it or not it took a good long 1.5 hours!!! . And the information board on the wall said it requires 15 minutes . Yeah right. The government has initiated so many schems to support the postal department and this is the way they show their gratitude. Good for them, i say.
