Passport office

Very bad experience with Alibag Passport Office. I was given an appointment time of 1:30 PM, but even after reaching on time, the earlier appointments were not completed. People who came at 9:00 AM were still waiting. The service is extremely slow and poorly managed. I also brought my 2-month-old baby for passport processing, but the staff did not show any consideration or priority for an infant. No proper support or cooperation was provided. The staff behavior was not helpful, and they did not guide customers properly. Very disappointing and stressful experience, especially with a small baby.

They took just 3 documents and done...easy but long after appointment their is verification in local police station which also take lot gap .. instead of normal all passports should be converted into tatkal and rapid for our futures

I took appointment for alibag office but when i visited to office staff said we can not accept form for pimpri chinchwad address, so my money, time was wasted, though my appointment was there in computer they denied to accept my application, worst experience from alibag office

Make sure to have active Digilocker in your mobile before visiting with added aadhaar card, pan card and other relevant documents. Also carry a xerox copy of each document. Even if appointment is of 9:15, you will be allowed in till 10-10:30. This is the condition of June 2025.

Very bad experience unnecessary the ask document. passport seva official website already mentioned the mandatory document apart from that they ask of bank passbook..
