Went for passport renewal, very systematic and organized experience. It was a 3 step process. Get the token. The helpdesk staff is very helpful. They will answer all your queries related to documents and the process. Once your number comes, go inside and verify your application form and the required documents. If everything is good, you will be sent in the cabin. Wait for your turn. They will do the processing in front of you. It takes hardly 5 minutes. Usually it is not that crowded. You will be done in 30-40 minutes. Make sure you have digilocker installed and setup with all important documents for smooth experience.

A few tips for applicants: * Go through the document list carefully before your appointment. (Verify spellings) * Always carry at least two address proofs (for example, an electricity bill and a bank passbook). * If you are married, keep your marriage certificate and your spouse's Aadhaar ready. * Be prepared with DigiLocker, as nowadays it's mandatory that your DigiLocker Aadhaar and physical Aadhaar details match. The office is easily reachable on Google maps. There are only three people working in the office There are only two people uploading the documents and managing the passport.... Shortage of staff leads to miss management, confusion hence the process becomes time consuming. No canteen no xerox shops for online work available nearby.

No proper assistance provided! Why do govt servants works keep them at home and gove them salary ! Govt fails basic service to public! My parents are senior citizens and are not familiar with the DigiLocker app. None of the staff members were willing to guide them in installing or using it. All the staff are young, yet no one took the initiative to assist. There was also no prior communication or information given about the requirement of the DigiLocker app. They came back without any result. This is highly inconvenient and disrespectful to citizens, especially seniors.
