Post Office Passport Seva Kendra

I recently visited the Passport Office in Baramati and had a disappointing experience. The waiting area is extremely small, with seating for only around 10 people despite a high flow of applicants. This causes unnecessary crowding and discomfort. The overall cleanliness and hygiene of the office were also not satisfactory. Basic facilities such as a token display system or TV to manage the queue are missing, which creates confusion among applicants. Another major concern is the lack of professionalism among the staff. They do not clearly inform applicants about the required documents in advance, which leads to delays and repeated visits. In addition, some staff members were casually talking on their phones with friends while taking biometrics and photographs. A passport office should maintain higher standards of organization, cleanliness, and professionalism. I hope the authorities take steps to improve the facilities and service quality for citizens.

I had a very good experience at the Passport Seva Kendra. The entire process was smooth and well-organized. The staff was polite, and the passport ma'am who handled my documents was very generous and extremely helpful. She guided me clearly through every step, which made the whole process stress-free. Really appreciate the professionalism and supportive attitude. Highly recommended!

My experience at this passport seva kendra was absolutely horrible and disappointing. The staff behavior was extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. They do not know how to talk to applicants politely. Basic manners and respect are completely missing. The communication was very poor. Staff members did not explain the process properly, gave incomplete information, and behaved as if they were doing a favor instead of their duty. When I asked genuine questions, they responded rudely and impatiently. The appointment process was badly managed. There was no proper guidance, no clear instructions, and complete confusion. Instead of helping, the staff made the process more stressful. This place seriously needs better-trained staff, proper communication skills, and basic customer service ethics. Such behavior towards citizens is unacceptable, especially for a government service. I do not recommend this passport office to anyone. One of the worst government service experiences I have ever had.

I had visited on 26 nov 25 and the madam incharge was very cooperative and was serving every customer with due respect. She was very knowledgeable and i hope every govt office would be proud to have an officer like her. Sorry i did not ask her name but probably was from north india. Kudos to her dedication.

Address proof 1. Original recent electricity bill. (Not online bill copy) or 2. Gas connection card with recent bill. 3. Aadhaar card copy of same address . 4. Bank account passbook of same address. 10th Certificate for DOB or Birth certificate. Lunch time 1.30 -2.00 No more accepting PAN Card or driving license for birth certificate.

Pathetic place... No washroom for women, terrible state of management.... Arrogant PPL... My suggestion is to shutdown operations... Just had some hopes from baramati... But it is still worst... Politicians are pathetic a Can't even take care of one basic most imp service.... The thumb print machine from both the tables did not work... One fellow messed up with his password and the other lady did what not....

Grievance regarding suboptimal experience at Passport Seva Kendra, Post Office #Baramati Experienced a deep disappointment and frustration with the service we received at the Passport Seva Kendra, Post Office Baramati. Despite arriving 30 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment time we encountered numerous issues that rendered the experience inefficient and stressful. Issues Encountered: 1. Inadequate Infrastructure: The premises lacked sufficient seating arrangements, proper ventilation, and were overcrowded with approximately 50 individuals. 2. Lack of Guidance and Information: There was no clear guidance or information provided to applicants regarding the process, leading to confusion. 3. Despite having original documents and printouts, we were informed that our documents were invalid, and additional Xerox copies were required. 4. We were unexpectedly asked for fax number and visa documents, which were not mentioned during the appointment scheduling process. 5. The staff seemed more focused on internal discussions than attending to applicants, leading to significant delays. 6. The staff was talking in themselves in clear voice and intentionally speaking in low and unclear tone with customers, when asked them again, they were rude to them. 7. Agents were entertained for their personal gains. Consequences: The aforementioned issues resulted in undue stress, inconvenience, and wastage of our time. As citizens, we expect a certain level of efficiency and organization from government services.
