Katemanivali Sub Post Office

I was informed that my parcel was out for delivery and assigned to Rohini Shelke, but no delivery attempt was made. The delivery was cancelled without reason. Even after re-initiation by the bank, the parcel was not delivered again. I am very dissatisfied with the service and request better coordination.

Today (1st Dec 2025) I had a pathetic experience at Katemanivli post office which is near the tabela as I visited to book a parcel to be sent. The lady sitting on counter no. 1 for speed post and parcel has been extremely arrogant and undeserving to be in the Post Office. She dropped my parcel having fragile items which she had herself taken in her hand and checked them personally. Then again a no.of times she banged my parcel while doing the address entry in her system. Since 11:15am till 1:15pm I was struggling with her to send my parcel and had to go on her counter 3 times yet she was unable to book it to be sent. She had zero knowledge about what's required, she took around 20min with me standing on the counter to check in her system and decide how to send it but finally I had to return home without sending my parcel through the Post Office. Each time she gave me a different amount that will be charged. She was repeatedly looking at the clock, not focused on her work at all. While attending me she was doing unnecessary jobs like arranging all the notes in a particular order, etc. I approached the post master but she too was very luke warm and spoke very politely with this counter lady. I hope that the authorities take note of the indiscipline and mishandling of this lady staff at the counter.

This Post Office of Kalyan is located in the interior road of Katemanevali. If we travel on the main road we are not able to see the post office. But the size of the post office is very good and well equipped in all respect. It should have been occupied in the main area of Katemanevali and not in the outskirt location to enable the good visibility to the common public who are the first timers.

I went to the Katemanivali branch today to check the status of my parcel. I spoke to a madam at the counter, but instead of assisting, she simply told me to ask the postman of my area. When I requested details about the assigned postman, she stated that I would get my parcel when he comes, but she was unsure when that would be. Such an irresponsible and uncooperative attitude from a senior staff member is highly disappointing. She did not offer any positive or helpful response regarding my concern.

I'm very disappointed with the Indian Post Office service. My recent order was not delivered, and the tracking status falsely claimed that there was "no one at home" -- which is completely untrue. I was home the entire day, and no delivery attempt was made. There was no phone call or notice left either. This isn't the first time this has happened, and it's frustrating to see such carelessness and lack of accountability. Reliable delivery is the basic expectation, and marking false delivery attempts is highly unprofessional. I hope the concerned authorities look into this issue seriously and take steps to improve transparency and responsibility in the delivery process.

Very bad experience they do not inform about the parcel no calls no messages nothing worst service received till date in my life

Katemanvli post office pathetic service,i was cordinating with Madam Jayshree ,my passport was in postoffice they visited home in my absence once,now they arguing ,to save their burden asking me to collect they all are too busy in gossiping.

This is very bad service specially katemanavali location post office without permission returns parcel no call no massage and sent to return parcel my branch. very bad
