Post Office Passport Seva Kendra, Vasai East

Worst passport office experience ever. This center is merged with the post office, and the entire place is extremely messy and dirty -- shipments are lying all around, making it very unorganized. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, and I reached half an hour early, but even at 11, the previous appointments were still pending. The process is painfully slow and poorly managed, with only two counters operating. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. When asked for basic information, they simply say, "Inquire online, we're not here to help." After waiting for over 3 hours, my application was rejected without proper guidance. I immediately rescheduled my appointment at Malad, where the experience was completely different and much better. I do not recommend the Vasai East Passport Seva Kendra to anyone. If possible, go to Thane or Malad centers instead -- they are far more organized and professional.

Very rude staff. Person doing the passport procedure has no manners to talk. He is very very rude . Very much unprofessional and treating badly and speaking harshly Will strongly recomment malad or other passport office , just avoid this vasai branch. He didn't upload my aadhar card's copy properly despite clear xerox and threatened me that he wont care and its my responsibility if there is any further issue and if it gets rejected. Very bad service and very bad staff. There were 2 men sitting inside doing passport procedure both were rude to all people coming there for procedure and treating very badly. There are many other negative reviews on this page and despite bad reviews , idk why no action is taken. Strict action should be taken

Perfect representation of Sarkari Daftar. Even after giving appointment slots, nothing is followed here. I waited for 1 n half hour and got frustrated and reschedule my appointment to Malad office, as it was gonna take another 2 hours for sure. No AC, no proper management, hardly one or two counters. If you don't value your time please go at your own risk.

The Vasai PSK is a small, cramped space located within a post office. While the staff are generally kind and helpful, the overall experience can be frustrating due to long wait times and a chaotic environment. It took me 1.5hrs for my turn, even though I was on time for the appointment. With only 3 staff (1xdocument verification, 2xprocessing) you cannot expect much. The small waiting area and lack of air conditioning can make for an uncomfortable experience, especially during peak hours. They have drinking water and toilets available on site. It's advisable to bring all necessary documents to avoid unnecessary delays. Despite these drawbacks, the efficient processing time once you reach the counter is a positive aspect. It too me just 15minutes to complete the process once I reached the counter.

It was a very nice experience. The staff is very good and explains things well. You don't need many documents for a fresh passport. You just need Aadhar card, PAN card and 12th standard mark sheet in original and a xerox copy.And go with a calm head and do whatever they tell you.

Government offices are bad. This is worst. They have employed the worst kind of 2 human there. They will not help, they are super rude. Waited for 3 hours and they made us reschedule after coming on the counter because of ECR, Non ECR issue. They wouldn't let you bring the document if you ask for 5 mins while they make you wait for hours. Pathetic government service and pathetic employees. No water, no seating, no fan. Nothing

Pros: Convenient location for Vasai/Virar people if you want to avoid train travel. Waiting room and restroom is available. Cons: (Dec 2025) - Appointments hold no value. Its first come first serve. So make sure you have at least 4-5 hours to spare if you are not able to make it there by early morning.

I submitted my passport renewal application on 19th September. All required documents were properly submitted. However, as of 8th October, the police verification has not yet been conducted. We did inquiry in all the police station near to us but they didn't receive the documents from PSK vasai. We also visited the Post Office Passport Seva Kendra to enquire about the delay, but unfortunately, we did not receive any proper assistance. This delay is causing great concern as it is affecting my career plans. what steps we should take to expedite the police verification process.
