Post Office Passport Seva Kendra Vashi

Untrained staff who is verifying the document. I am disappointed with the way my application was handled. As per the official Passport Seva guidelines, for a minor passport reissue, one parent's passport copy and one parent's address proof are sufficient when both parents are available. However, the staff insisted on submitting documents of both parents, which is not aligned with the published guidelines. In my case, the father's address is different due to work in another state. Despite providing valid and relevant documents that clearly contained all necessary details as required on the official passport website, the staff refused to consider them and did not provide clear justification. It appeared that the staff were either not fully aware of the current process or were not following the official guidelines properly. This caused unnecessary inconvenience, confusion, and delay. I request that the concerned authorities ensure proper training and adherence to official procedures so that applicants are not subjected to inconsistent document demands in the future.

Absolute in pathetic state like a old khandar bhoot Bangla. No xerox facility. Even for simple xerox one has to walk to sector 17. No adequate sitting and small space leads to crowding.. A Post officec truck had lliterally blocked the main gate making entry into premises almost too difficult. Its a shame that even a city like Navi Mumbai doesn't have proper facility. Arrogant staff. Asks for unnecessary gazettes and documents not even mentioned on passport site Better go to thane office which has much better skilled and trained staff

I am so frustated by the Experience at this passport seva kendra. Please please trust the reviews given by other people below. The Man sitting for document verification is such arrogant and useless fellow. Harrassed us. Asked for original of marriage certificate of parents even though childs birth certificate contained both parents name as mentioned in respective passports. We showed him the xerox copy but with the intention of harrassment, he kept on asking for original which we did not have. Although as per documents checklist on the portal parents marriage certificate is not a required document for the minor childs passport. Suggestion: Even if you have taken appointment here, please cancel it and look for some other PSK. This centre does not even deserve a one star. Some action should be taken against the person sitting for document verification.

I visited the office 4 days back. I had almost all the documents to prove my dob like aadhar card, school board passing certificate and marksheet. But the officer there did not accept them. He asked me to either give my birth certificate or SLC which I dont have . The person sitting outside was also of no use and rude. I am very disgusted with their working style. If I don't have these 2 certificates..I had other documents as mentioned on their portal.

Very Good service, Hardly took 20 mins for 2 minor passports. It not a hotel/restaurant for ambiance as per comment from other users. Its a boon for Navi Mumbaikar.

This passport office needs some attention towards renovation and more countries for faster service. This is situated at the second floor of an old post office. No lift no air conditioning and we are paying rs 1500 to 2000. Better to take an appointment elsewhere like Lower Parel PSK

Navi Mumbai deserves a proper Passport Office to serve the population. Work gets done quickly, but the condition is poor. This was opened in 2019, they are using the Vashi Post Office Building. It's just a small Office with 3 separate rooms. Improper Sitting Facility, No Air Conditioning, No Xerox Facility, not maintained at all. Feels like a make-shift office.

Impressed with the service.Special to Santosh who was managing floor.Representatives like him are examples of how empathy and customer service play an important role for customer delight , even if there infrastructure related feedback.I had been there with my mother who is a Senior Citizen and the way they handled everything, without even me making a request , makes me feel very happy.Very happy with the services especially their approach towards customers.
