Kharghar Sub Post Office

It is a shame that we see Kharghar post office in such a condition. A very small area, no customer facilities, same old unprofessional way of working. There is no space for customers as well as for employees and we wonder when is this post office going to catch up with modernization and will be able to adapt with new way of providing services as well as customer service.

Very disappointed with the service at Kharghar Post Office. I am a person with a disability and went there on 9 March 2026 around 3:30 PM to send a parcel. The staff told me it was not possible because the delivery transportation was about to arrive. I politely requested help and explained my situation, hoping for a little consideration. I waited there until about 3:50 PM, and the delivery transportation had still not arrived. If the staff had shown a little understanding, they could have assisted me in that time. I hope the management improves service and shows more support and humanity towards persons with disabilities.

My driving license came to my old address. I went to post office. They gave me the delivery guy's number. It was out of service. Then they gave me another number. I finally spoke to delivery boy and collected my DL. Very supportive staff.

Very bad experience on 2 couriers which were not handed over to my people and they have to themselves collect it...Also the phone number nobody recieves. Pls improve quality of services you are charging us for the same.

They have only one counter for all the services names as multi purpose counter. Takes forever for few people to post anything. The staff asks us about the weight of the courier. I hope they could employ more people for different services. Had to stand for 2 hrs though there wer few people un the queue

As usual very sluggish like any other goverment organization. The people for dreaming for getting a job in Government organisation and forgetting to provide service to common people once they get. I had many incident with this post office. The postman for Kharghar sector 15 area never deliver the mail's on time, and coming only for collect Diwali contribution on time. Once they had wrongly delivered my newspaper subscriptions voucher to other and my Mom's PAN card not delivered.

I had clothes and some dry food items and a photo frame shipped from Kharghar post office to London, UK. It had all been packed very nicely using bubble wrap and cling film in boxes, but by the time it was delivered to me in the UK the clothes and food was packed in a blue bag by the post badly, the frame was out of the bubble wrap and cling film only in a box with tape on the edges and it was broken beyond repair, the food items were about 6kgs worth..... the amount I was delivered was about 2kgs, which they stole and ate. I'm absolutely fuming with anger. India post is filled with thieves who steal from you and break your things.... Do not trust them if you are planning to use their services to send your things anywhere. Absolutely useless bunch of people with no integrity or decency as well as having respect for others property. I'm just thankful they didn't steal the clothes. My wedding photo frame broken My wedding outfits ruined Food stolen But they made to charge us a bomb for sending these things. They state in which my parcel has arrived one would think they send it for free as a favour on me. INDIA POST IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. PS - Photo 1 - remainder of the stole food completely crushed. Phot 2&3 - the state in which my clothes arrived. Photo 4- the box and the ugly bag that India post decided to use instead of the proper packaging it was given to them in. Photo 5 - the photo frame completely and utterly destroyed Thank you India post for showing me that I never should have trusted you with anything. You are a disgrace to your people and the post as well.

I was expecting two envelopes from bankers containing debit card and cheque books.I was getting status from both my bankers and post office, speed post.Eventually it arrived at Kharghar post office. I was waiting for delivery at my residence through out the day as tracking report showing "out for delivery ".Sadly I didn't receive it and tracking report showing " Location not found ".I was shocked. Today I visited the post office and collected my documents personally. The staff at the counter were very co operative. They said they are under staffed and cannot cope up with increased work.The department should look into this and find solutions as the public has to suffer
