I went to this POPSK for fresh passport documents verification and here's my experience. 1) My appointment time was at 1pm so I went early at 12:30pm. 2) When i went in there was so much of crowd and i didn't get place to sit due to limited seats. When i asked a person why it's crowded he said there's half hour delay they started their work late. So don't expect that your work will be done in exact time. 3) My timing was 1pm but my work got completed at 2:30pm due to which i got very frustrated. They go to lunch at 1:30-2pm 4) They asked me for two documents i.e. E-Aadhaar (Smart Aadhaar Card not allowed) and 10th certificate. Bring self attested xerox of each document 5) Staff is cooperative and they allow you to bring the left out document quickly

Before we start comparing ourselves to other countries, we need to focus on providing basic services to the public. I visited this post office to get an Aadhaar card made for my daughter. A large notice placed outside clearly stated that new Aadhaar cards were being issued. On the first day, I was told that they operate only between 9 AM and 11 AM. So I came back the next day at 8:45 AM, went straight to the Aadhaar issuance counter, and waited. By 9:30 AM, no one had turned up. Frustrated, I asked around only to be told that post offices haven't even been given the software yet to begin processing Aadhaar cards. This kind of disconnect and poor communication is exactly what needs fixing before we talk about progress.

Dont have option to give negative rating. Officer who checks documents (A) does not give complete information or option. B will scan docs and proceed further. Only one officer who will reject or keep on-hold 75% of application and ask to take next appointment from system that too 2months later. Looks old but not much experience with handling different case and new development on policies. Better avoid this office

Good option for Pimpri Chinchwad residents. I went for minors appointment for 9.30 am and I was actually called in at 9.15 am by 9.30 the process was complete. Plz carry xerox do not take print out of image. If your documents are in order things will be complete within 15 to 20 minutes. Very cooperative staff. Four wheelers parking on roadside.

Posting this pic from the passport office to understand which Aadhaar card is a Valid proof. Visited POPSK office for passport service in the morning slot. Took around 2 hours for the whole process. Visual token service (like RPOs) NOT functioning while I visited here, the executives will announce names as per the appointment schedule so make sure you reach at least 15 minutes in advance.

Visited on date 22-10-2025 in diwali time still Nice experience quick process !

Most awaited Passport Seva Kendra in PCMC region... PCMC people now don't have to go to Pune for issuing passport and renewal of the same. Good place... At post office passport seva kendra have dedicated office and ample parking space. I went for passport renewal and reached before 30 mins of appointment time. It took hardly half an hour for all process. Everything was smooth, had good experience.

This POPSK office service is really fast and good.They have proper arrangements for applicants for seating.Staff is very helpful.I would suggest who is living in PCMC should make an appointment from this office.
