Excellent Experience at Passport Seva Kendra I had a very smooth and pleasant experience at the Passport Seva Kendra. The entire process was extremely well-organized and surprisingly quick. From document verification to biometrics, everything moved systematically without unnecessary waiting. The sitting arrangement was comfortable and well-planned, with clear instructions displayed everywhere, making it easy even for first-time applicants to understand the process. The staff was polite, helpful, and professional at every counter, which really reduced stress and confusion. What impressed me the most was the speed and efficiency of the process. Despite the crowd, everything was handled in a calm and disciplined manner. Overall, it was a super quick, transparent, and hassle-free experience. Truly commendable service and management. I had a great experience visiting this Passport Seva Kendra for my passport renewal. The staff here are very polite, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. The counters are well-organized, and the waiting time was reasonable. What I really liked was how the staff guided everyone clearly at each stage, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They also have an in-house xerox facility, which is extremely convenient in case you forget to carry extra copies of your documents. The premises are clean and well-maintained. The washrooms are surprisingly clean and hygienic, which is rare in most government offices. Another plus point is the snack parlour on the first floor where you can grab a cup of tea or light snacks while waiting. The overall environment felt safe and welcoming, and even the security staff were courteous. Everything here is well-managed, from document checks to token systems. I would highly recommend this center to anyone applying for or renewing a passport, it truly sets a high standard for public service infrastructure.

The passport office is clean and well-maintained, and the seating arrangements are comfortable. The staff is helpful, especially the Maharashtrian staff, who are very cooperative. If you have all your documents in order, you won't face any issues during the process. Processing time can vary depending on your appointment slot. If your appointment is in the afternoon between 12-2 PM, it may take around 3 hours. Otherwise, the process is usually faster. Also I received my passport within 4 days for normal passport

I recently applied for a Tatkal passport and had a great experience at PSK II Thane. This was the first time I witnessed such a fast and smooth government service process. My entire verification was completed within just 15-20 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The office was also very clean, well-maintained, and organized. Overall, I'm very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism here. Suggestions for applicants: Carry a printout of your application. Keep self-attested copies of all documents along with the originals. Fetch your Aadhaar and PAN through DigiLocker. Carry the Tatkal undertaking form. For reference, I carried: Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, and Birth Certificate. Highly recommended for anyone applying for a passport at Thane!

There is a senior citizen queue for token issuance which is a great initiative but it needs to be followed through properly. Senior citizens should be given priority at Counters A, B, and C as well, along with a clearly marked reserved seating area. Elderly people are forced to stand for hours which is unacceptable. Additionally, if staff are taking a 1-hour lunch break, passport appointment slots should not be allocated during that time. This shows a lack of respect for applicants' time. While there are several counters at A, there are only 6 counters each at B and C. Since everyone must go through all three stages, B and C become major bottlenecks. To make matters worse, during my visit, only one counter at C was operational, while the rest of the staff were on a leisurely lunch break.

This is the office where you can find the stark difference between govt officers and private professionals. The TCS staff upto counter A gets the process done professionally and efficiently. However you will definitely face an obstacle with the govt officers at counter B onwards, even though there may be a solution to your hurdle. The government website for verifying one of my documents was facing server issues. When asked for a solution/alternative, the govt officer at counter B starts arguing and accuses me of forgery. Later his senior suggests me to get a document mentioned in one of the annexures. Truly unprofessional behaviour and unbecoming of a government representative lacking temperament training. Every discussion doesn't need to be a debate. The TCS Team deserves full 5 stars, Zero for the govt officers.

Very nice experience we had here. Staff is very efficient, friendly and cooperative. Within twenty-thirty minutes, you will exit with satisfaction. Right from entry inside, everything is well planned and maintained. You will get the Xerox copies here at very reasonable rates than outside. Place is very easy to approach from Thane Railway Station. Canteen facility also is available in the same building at another floor by another agency.

Bunch of TCS staff is highly inefficient and useless. Old age APO here is so slow he tells that BMC guys are not working properly. Thanks that we are having BMC. Overall pethatic service, not recommended at all if possible go to other centre and get that APO out of service quickly.
