Head Post Office, Balangir

Review for Passport office- Location - 1st floor Steps to be followed(normal passport)- 1) Register yourself and create a new user ID 2) fill the e-form 3) select the documents 4) pay 1500/- and book the appointment 5) carry all required documents 6) reach 15 min earlier with your appointment receipt Documents required- 1) for non-ECR category, 10th certificate or the certificate of your highest qualification. 2) present Address proof 3) proof for place of birth Pros- 1) the person in charge is very polite and guide you in every way possible. 2) waiting hall Cons- 1) only a single employee has been appointed to do all the work. No helper nothing. 2) wash room are not clean at all. Suggestions- 1) the person in charge should be provided with a helper. 2) wash rooms should be clean.

Percel service was very slow. Need to improve neither people will impress other 5 generation speed postal service.

Loved the place. Passport,Addhar related works, various Small Savings related works are done here. Employees are very polite,cordial & cooperative.

The HO of Balangir don't have the contact number of the nearby post office also. I asked them for sadaepali BO contact number they told they don't have. And my parcel is in sadaepali BO from 3days and not even delivered to me

Edit1: Recently visited for my passport renewal. The office is located on the 1st floor and has two systems, though only one was operational during my visit. Despite there being only one employee handling everything, the service was excellent. Huge thanks to the staff member on duty--they were incredibly supportive, guided me through every step, and made the entire process seamless.

Very poor service. Doesn't have any care for customers.. there r lots of counters but only 1 is operational.

There have been a great service by Head post office, staff are very helpful..

Supportive staff. Well behaved. Good and speedy services...
