Passport Seva Kendra ( Passport Office)

PSK karaikal is located just adjacent to the Head post office and 75 metres from the main Bharathiar road. Appointment date and time will be given after the application is submitted. We need to go just 15 minutes before the scheduled time . Two Post office officials on deputation are disposing of our application . For renewal, we need to bring 1. original e- downloaded Aadhar along with one xerox copy 2. PAN card in original and xerox copy and 3. Xerox copy of old passport first and last two pages combined together. Most importantly we need to take the print out of an online appointment letter. They are insisting to bring it though it is not mandatory as per passport website.Thats all. For a fresh case, Aadhar and PAN as above, 10th or 12th Mark list original and xerox besides Election ID original and Xerox. Better to take a bank passbook too for address proof. They took just an hour to complete the task ; This centre is functioning with Zero amenities. AC is not working. A powercut occurred when we were there. So, we need to wait more than an hour . Back is available for their computer only and we were accommodated in the dumped room with no air. Thanjavur PSK is being handled by passport officials and it is better than Karaikal. Herein PSK, karaikal, they doesn't have the previous passport records and we are being asked to go to Tanjore or Trichy for renewal for certain cases like the image of the old passport is not readable etc . Please see the attached images and you will find the required documents to be brought for various cases This centre's amenities need to be improved a lot. We are asked to leave our footwear outside . It is not correct and they are underrated in our self respect. But the official is wearing it!!

I have selected this place for passport verification. and the verification was quickly done here. The size of the office was very small, in other hand working people are very quickly done their job. For every person can enters the office within 1/2 an hour they can finish the verification easily.

Worst response and they are not friendly. They mentioned not to go agent but we have forced because of there rude behaviour. Even if they found small issue or any silly doubt if we asked they are answering very rudly. Kindly approach the customers friendly & we are paying amount just for the service we are avail from your office. If anything goes wrong we going to pay again & facing the losses.

I recently visited the passport renewal service with my children, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. As an NRI, I was shocked by the way the staff treated us. Here are some specific concerns: Lack of Politeness: The staff was not courteous and treated us as if we were illiterate, showing a lack of respect and empathy. Unprofessional Behavior: They shouted at the children, which was completely unfair and uncalled for. Such behavior is distressing for both children and parents. Need for Supervision: It seems that there is a need for proper supervision and training to ensure staff provide good service to all customers. Service Quality: As citizens, we pay for these services and expect a certain level of professionalism, especially from a third-party service provider like TCS. I hope this feedback can help improve the service for future visitors. Thank you for taking the time to consider this.

Worst behaviour by two employees in passport office please take action on those two employees one employee named sakthivel he's so rude and arrogant with my father he can't walk and he just came inside and sit next to me but he rudely used harrassing my father to go out. They didn't know how to treat people in passport office i felt like there is no humanity in that office. Please take action on those people. I hope they will change and realise their mistakes and they will do their job properly in future.

One of the worstest.. Shouting and behaving rude to all persons who comes for passport purpose.. Seriously?? What kind of authority do they have to shout at persons coming inside.. Mainly that superintendent.. Worst attitude... I have personally mailed to all branches and failed a report on him in human rights too.. My father was accident patient.. That guy just said only applicant to sit inside and spoke harshly to my father to go out.. He walks with Walker without any humanity he didn't say that properly just shouting..

Got appointment on Wednesday. This day it's not too rush and has the process completed within 45 minutes.

Here's we can apply New passport and renew the old passport. It's reduced time cost of transport for the verification in near by Karaikal. But the staffs are surely not customer friendly..
