Regional Passport Office Patiala

Please don't book passport appointment here for fresh and renewal. Opt for Chandigarh. They put all the queries to Chandigarh office. Staff has zero knowledge about the documents which are required during appointment. They don't know that digi locker is aloso government verified app. Staff doesn't have basis civic sense. They harrassing people. Front staff misguided people many times.

The staff at this POPSK is unqualified and untrained. You have to visit multiple times if you have applied for fresh passport. Overall terrible service.

I wish i had an option for zero star, they dont care what time your appointment is they will call you only when they want and accommodate people who come later than you for no reason and when you ask why is that they come back saying we are short on staff

Very bad experience a lady who verify your documents don't have the manner how to talk...she is so rude....i don't know how govt give them a job then don't know how to talk or behave others.....she is so arrogant and other staff if good accept that lady...

I visited this office on 17.07.2025 to get a new Aadhaar card made for my child. The lady sitting there misguided me completely. According to her, I had to first go to a nearby cyber cafe, book an appointment, and then come back after one month. Later, I found out that this was completely false. I went to the Aadhaar center at IndusInd Bank, Chhoti Baradari, where the entire process was completed within just 15 minutes and without any appointment. I am surprised how someone with zero knowledge is allowed to sit at such an important position. She must be misguiding many people every day, wasting their time and causing unnecessary trouble. Such irresponsible behavior should not be tolerated at a public service office. Properly trained staff must be appointed to assist the public with accurate information.

So poor service. Government should check this centre. Their mistakes leads to harassment of public. And need visit to RPO Chandigarh.

The staff at the Patiala Passport Office seems to lack adequate knowledge, as they often direct inquiries straight to the Chandigarh office. Additionally, the staff here appears to be less qualified or trained. Overall, visiting this office feels like a waste of time.

All staff members are very cooperative and kind, whole application process completed within 15 minutes. Only issue is you will get the appointment date for fresh passport after minimum 45 days. But the service is very good, even better than Chandigarh passport office as you don't have to stand in the queue or wait outside.
