If you carry all the required documents, the process can be completed smoothly. However, there are not enough staff members for document verification and consultation, which can lead to some waiting time. It's better to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and be prepared to wait around 1 to 3 hours for the complete process. Make sure to bring two valid documents with the same name and address -- for example, Aadhaar (e-copy) along with bank passbook, driving licence, rental agreement, gas bill, or EB bill.

There are very few resources and limited staff available to attend to people. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30, but it's already 2:00, and they are still handling the 11:30 batch. It's almost time for the 2:30 appointments, and two batches are still pending. It doesn't seem likely they'll be able to accommodate my appointment today.

Please come here if you have the whole day to sit and wait here. There's only one computer, one passport officer, one person to verify documents. My appointment was at 2 it's 5 o clk and I'm still waiting. They shouldn't be accepting these many appointments in the first place with one system. Its way better to go to Tirunelveli get the job done quickly and come back.

Good Token system not correctly followed. If people at 2:30pm appointment go inside at 12:30pm they allow inside and tell them to wait. I have appointment at 12:30 pm. In 1st counter they called me at 1:45pm. 2nd counter they called me at 2:10pm. During my visit they asked Driving licence/voter ID as additional address proof. But on previous day for all applications they asked Ration original smart card for address proof. Every day they changing POA so keep all proof with you while visiting.

It located in The center of the city Very crowded area. Only road side parking available here. They work very slowly . The office man doesn't know Tamil,He speaks Hindi It was difficult for locals. It starting time they working good now taking so much time. In that time you can visit tirunelveli branch.

Only one passport officer is there. For 2 30 appointment, they will call you inside at 5 pm. They should add more staffs to decrease the processing time.
