Passport Seva Kendra -Thanjavur

Today I visited Passport Seva Kendra Thanjavur for my PCC appointment. The entire process was well organized and systematic. The staff members were very helpful and cooperative. My documents were verified quickly and the waiting time was minimal. I am satisfied with the service provided.

Worst service apply passport. Not give proper information to arrange documents. I am apply for my daughter to new passport. I am working overseas. My wife and daughter go 2 times appointment each time can not process.then they return home whole day spent passport office and come back home . Very disappointed me this . Don't know how to give information to public Indian citizens to make they life better. Please work for people money to pay u salary for ur work . So make sure ur work helpful for people's. Not only think of ur side rejecting any reason to find out . First think of public side how long they travel and come back ur office for application process. U all easily rejected two times . This is very disappointed. Please improve ur work style and work for people's. My experience at PSK Thanjavur was very disappointing due to poor time management and lack of customer consideration. The waiting time at each counter is extremely long. When staff members go for lunch or breaks, there is no replacement staff arranged, which causes the counters to remain idle for a long time. This unnecessarily increases the waiting time for customers. Customers are also human beings--we have basic needs like food and personal schedules to manage. Unfortunately, the staff and management do not seem to consider the value of customers' time. People are forced to wait for hours without any proper system or communication. I request the concerned authorities to improve staff rotation during breaks and manage counters efficiently to reduce waiting time. Better planning would greatly improve the overall customer experience.

Amazing experience on this facility when I went to renew my mother's passport. Children and senior citizens get a privileged sequence on fast track basis. I availed the wheel chair for my mum as she couldn't go up the stairs and was supported by walking support. The facility operated by Tata Consultancy Serices provided wheel chair assistance end-to-end from the beginning of the process to the end of the process at no additional cost. The staff are very professional and courteous. The process was smooth and done at ease. Photocopying facilities are available. However, any soft copies need to be printed need to go out to any service providers outside of the facility. Facilities are well organised, clean and professionally upkept. Saw G4S in services too. G4S staff are also very professional. Average time for non senior citizens take about 1.5hrs to 2hrs end to end. For senior citizens and children, who can be accompanied with a person, it takes about 45mins end to end. Photos are taken on spot. For renewals you need to bring front and back of the old passport pages with name details and the address information. Aadhar card copy is also needed. Both needed to be signed at the facility. The facility is wheel chair friendly and has a lift. There is a convenient car park operated by a private firm at a nominal cost of 50 per block of 2 hours. Thanks to the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India, Tata Consultancy Services and G4S facility services. No photos allowed hence am not able to share photos.

The overall experience at PSK Thanjavur was smooth and well-organized. The staff were polite, guided applicants properly, and the process moved efficiently. Waiting time was reasonable, and the counters were managed systematically. A good experience overall.

If any spellings changes required in Parents name, they will inform you to give newspaper advertisement & affidavit for the change,Which is not required at all. Instead You can go with correct name of Father/Mother - Aadhar & Pan Original & it's Xerox with correct Name and their signature with your sign. And If you need to add Spouse Name- Take marriage certificate original with you (or) fill Annex J Form with You & your Wife Photo+ Signature is enough to update the spouse name. Always carry all the original documents with you. And mostly they are trying to rescheduling once & provide it on next visit only. It's better to carry all the original proof. TCS Staff are good. This Central Gov. Staff are always try to find reason to reschedule. They should work for the people but always work against the people by getting our tax & payment as their salary they are doing this. Try to resolve people problem don't make them in trouble. Everyone are taking leave for the work & coming for this, atleast try to give solution on their first visit.

Worst working process, simply waiting an hour to complete one counter. They gone for lunch all together and come back one after one after an hour. But they not allowed applicants to take lunch. There is no canteen facility at all. They have 7 B counters, but only 2-3 people are serving. Rest of the counters are empty. People came here with the small children, and the kids are badly feel hungry. But they are not allowed to go outside side and no canteen facilities. 3 different counterparts in the process. More than 20 A counters for documents, verification , upload, and photo graphs. After that these 20 counters documents are verified by only 2-3 people. Then the last part C counter is serving by 1 people instead of 5.

Excellent systematic service. Simple and easy process, have to show the appointment SMS and you will have to wait in a hall for your slot. Staffs were there to take me to all counters one by one, besides their support you watch your token number along with counter number in displays. Documents will be verified in first counter, they will guide you list of original and xerox documents to submit, if you miss to take xerox you can take it inside the office itself. Passport authorities were also friendly and helped in verifying the documents. There is lot of parking space for cars and bikes just opposite to passport office. Overall it was good experience and all done within 30 mins.
