Passport Seva Kendra

The waiting time was extremely long despite having an appointment, and the entire process was very slow and poorly managed. People were forced to wait for hours without any clear guidance or proper announcements. Another major problem was the waiting area. There was no AC or fan in the waiting place, making it very uncomfortable for applicants, especially families with children and elderly people. For such a crowded government office, basic facilities like proper ventilation or air conditioning should be provided. Overall, the process was very delayed, disorganized, and inconvenient. The authorities seriously need to improve the management, reduce delays, and provide basic facilities for the public.

I have never in my life experienced such a toxic and unprofessional environment as the Passport Seva Kendra in Trichy, especially on the first floor where the staff and senior officials operate with zero regard for public service. While the ground floor counters were manageable, everything went downhill the moment I stepped upstairs and encountered a cycle of misinformation where I was told specific documents weren't needed, only to be sent away and told the next day that I was missing something even though I had every single thing correct. The staff and higher-level officials, including the APO who started off kind but quickly changed, were openly hostile and spent their energy ragebaiting us and talking bad about us right to our faces as if we weren't even there. The absolute worst part was being subjected to constant trash-talk and being told that we were ruining their day and their job over a minor detail mistake that was easily fixable, which made me feel incredibly frustrated and depressed to the point where I could barely control my emotions. Why in the universe are government workers allowed to mock and insult the people they are supposed to serve while moving the goalposts constantly and forcing multiple unnecessary trips? This is bottom-tier service and a complete failure of professionalism, and I absolutely hated the disrespectful and provocative atmosphere of this office.

Poor experience at C counter. The staff at the C counter created unnecessary confusion regarding permanent and present address. Even after submitting valid address proof and supporting documents, repeated questioning was done about why the permanent address was different and why another district address appeared. As per passport rules, applicants are allowed to apply from their present address or any nearby Passport Seva Kendra, and police verification can be done at the mentioned address. Instead of giving clear guidance, the officer kept questioning without explaining the exact requirement. The application was approved only after the applicant clearly explained the rules, which shows the rejection attempt was unnecessary. Such behavior causes stress and waste of time. Staff should be better trained to guide applicants politely and follow standard passport guidelines.

The staffs in counter B and C ate rude to the extent. There are so much complaints reg. them in the reviews and no action against them still. I know you ll not consider this message too. But for new applicants, you passport will be issued only based on their moods and mentality. They do useless regections of their own and consider the are the lords in counter b and c people. So finally its ur complete luck to get verified by them. But finally, the staffs in A counter and ground floor were sincere and responsible and helpful mind behaviour. Staffs in counter B and C first to be trained or they ought be changed.

I won't even give 1 star but i have to coz I can't post this review. I visited the passport office today with the expectation of receiving a professional and respectful public service. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and stressful Such a very bad experience. The staff were very rude, especially LADIES STAFF in A counter(first floor) one of the staff named BHAGIYA and other two ladies staff (TCS employees) made me very STRESS n DISTURBED through out the process. I request the higher officer kindly TAKE THE ACTION and pls teach them how to give a proper service to the people without make them uncomfortable...

Very disappointing experience at Several, Trichy I had a really unpleasant experience at this passport renewal centre. The staff were extremely impolite and acted like we were wasting their time. Instead of guiding us properly, one of the workers was rude, kept throwing around insults, and even threw the papers at us. Her attitude was completely unprofessional and made the whole process stressful. What makes it worse is that this isn't the first time many others have faced the same behaviour from the staff here. When people come for important services like passport renewal, the least we expect is clear communication and basic respect. Sadly, this place failed in both. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the staff's behaviour, because right now, the service is far from acceptable.

In you got a appointment to this office maximum 2 to 3 hours you stay this office. In office worker mis,rajeswari was an nice person of this office. She was all help for applicant

I have never seen such a worst service. Employees behaviour were very rude and impolite. The reason behind the handed over to the private company for passport service from government is get done the process quickly and good approach for the customers.Waiting time is too much and there are no AC or Fan at lobby. Really big disappointment. Decade before I went to coimbatore passport office, they were very nice and no waiting anywhere during process.
