It has a good number of counters. However, we do have a parking issue. There is no proper parking g for the bikes or cars to be parked. Due to which cars has to be parked on the adjacent lane road, next to footpath. Not sure, if police will file a challenge for this, however, if that's the case, passport center team has to take some proper action to provide parking space. As govt is directly involved with it, govt and officials has to take care of it.

No proper parking available. You can manage a 2W but definitely not a 4W. Even if you park as suggested by the security guard there, traffic police will take photo for challan. Because of their systems failure at the last counter (C), we were asked to follow the process from the beginning. They were kind enough to allow the baby along the caretaker inside even though the baby don't have any passport action. Thanks for that.

Like most government offices, it is crowded and you can't blame them for it, as it's the people who are coming there, but they are doing their best to manage the crowd. Lots of documentation, zerox, all original copies of all documents must be carried. The staff was polite and decent. Also there is a zerox shop and a small cafe coffee day inside the office, which is very helpful. Unfortunately there is no parking space available, so you will struggle to find a spot. And it takes around 2-3 hours to do all the process, so be mentally prepared. And there are a total of 4 processing windows, where once goes one by one, till you reach the final window But once all the documents are done, the passport is processed is just 1-2 days, which is really amazing.

Please make sure you carry all required documents original and photocopy . Better to get a photocopy from the shop inside the passport seva center, because for some or other reason they will demand the same. Reach there before 10 to 15 minutes before the appointment time. There is no parking available outside so better to go in public transport or cab or auto. Once you reach, they will first validate your documents and give you a token number. There are 3 stages. In A counters, they will do data entry, scan documents and click photograph. After that they will send you to the B counter. You will have to wait for a long time for your turn. There is a small food cafe where you can buy tea/coffee and few snacks. There is very limited seating so you may have to stand. Toilets are pathetic. So plan accordingly. There were 6 B counters. They will recheck the documents. The worst thing is only 2 C counters. So all those who are through 6 B counters will wait for their turn for only 2 C counters. If officials in C counters are happy, you are done; else another day, another fight. March 2024 update: Went for renewal. Everything is the same. No proper line is followed. Even though 5 counters are there for the token. 1 is used for tatkal and 3 is used for normal. No one knows why 2,4 & 5 are there. Complete mess to get the token. A was quicker this time. B took a long time. C was not needed for renewal not sure why because earlier for my wife it was needed. Anyways came out in 2-2.15 hrs as all documents were available and it was renewal.

Passport process is smooth and the staff are helpful and guide applicants through each step. For parking you need to keep one thousand extra Because u need to park road side and challan will come from traffic.

Same as all other government office. Not very people friendly. The process is too long and not relevent. Task that can be done in 1 step requires 3 steps. Counter C is nothing just to cancel your old passport. Everything actually is done at count A. Take originals and clear xerox for renewal as well as new passport else there is a xerox available inside the office. There is some snacks and tea/coffee options available as well in the same counter. 10th certificate might be required. Take adhaar card which has the QR code. Lastly dont get impatient anytime as its a long process if you have opted for normal passport. It took me almost 5 hours as the server was down for 1 hour. If you have a tatkal application things might be a bit faster. Dont get confused with the token system as its not serial wise in counter B and C particularly and depends completion of processing in counter A.

Excellent service but the whole process itself takes 2-3hrs.There is no parking for 4 wheelers.once done u will get ur passport really quickly max within a week

I had 4 applications and was skeptical about the process, as we had applied for our passport as well as for our minor kids. But the entire process was very smooth. I had made sure to carry all possible documents in original and had 4 copies of each document for each application. We had the morning slot, and were allowed to go inside, the reception hall has place to sit and counters where they check the documents and a photocopy counter. The staff was helpful and guided us to first get the process done for parents and then come back and start the process for the kids. They were kind enough to help sort the application documents and keep it with them for further processing. We had to go for the process twice, once for us and once for our kids, and the entire time taken was 1 hour 10 mins. The premises is clean and had lot of seats for waiting. There were staff to properly guide. Overall the experience was good.
