Orai Railway Station S.O Post Office

This station is in desperate need of a complete and total revamp, particularly when it comes to basic cleanliness and hygiene. I have visited many stations, but the current state of this one is completely unacceptable for a public facility. First and foremost, the entire premises seem completely neglected by the cleaning staff. However, the absolute worst part of the experience is the out-of-control stray dog situation. The station is overrun with street dogs, and while I have nothing against animals, a busy railway station is not a safe or sanitary place for them to be living and relieving themselves. The most disgusting example of this negligence is the ramp leading out of Platform 3. The entire stretch from the platform down to the exit is completely covered in dog feces. It is absolutely horrific. Passengers carrying heavy luggage, families with small children, and elderly travelers are forced to navigate a literal minefield of dog waste just to leave the station. The smell is unbearable, and it poses a serious health and hygiene hazard. You cannot walk down this ramp without having to constantly look down and dodge the mess. Because the ramp is so heavily soiled, it is nearly impossible to find a clear path, and many unfortunate passengers end up stepping in it and dragging it out into the streets or onto their trains. It is baffling how the station management can ignore such a glaring issue in a high-traffic area like a main exit ramp. A public transportation hub should not look or smell like an abandoned, uncleaned kennel. The authorities urgently need to step in. The station requires a massive deep-cleaning effort, a humane solution to relocate the stray dogs, and a much stricter daily maintenance schedule. Until a full revamp happens, I strongly advise passengers arriving on Platform 3 to be extremely careful where they step. I would give zero stars if I could.

Orai railway station is only railway station of Orai Town which is located near Jhansi and 110 km from Kanpur. If you visit Orai station then must try Orai's famous gulab jamun, samosa and khasta which is selled by vendor at platform who take proper care of taste, quality and hygiene of food. Station is very clean and peacefull.

The Biggest Railway station between Kanpur Central & Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi Here uhh can find direct train to Mumbai, Kolkata, Goa, Ahmedabad, etc. But there is a cons. There is no direct train to Capital of India Delhi. You have too change from CNB or VGLJ.
