Had a wonderful eight day tour of Ayodhya and Varanasi, curated by Omega Travels. Thanks to the diligence of Rajesh and his team, we had a wonderful experience right from the time, we landed at Ayodhya airport till the time we departed from Varanasi airport. Transport: To start off with a big round of applause to the Drivers who were with us right throughout this whole trip, both in Ayodhya and Varanasi, Mr. Lalmani and Rajkumar. They were very humble, soft, spoken, and knowledgeable always provided us with inputs that made our trip even wonderful. From small details, like going to a tea shop or Lassi shop or a street food vendor to going to a much lesser, but authentic area was a true delight. They were also our local tour guides who never left our side. Hotel in Ayodhya was truly a delight. Clean rooms, good bathrooms, very hospitable staff, going out of the way to make our stay lovely. Thanks to their advice we made our Darshan of Ram Lalla a day earlier than planned. Hotel at Varanasi - Location wise was excellent, just around 2 km from Dashaswamedh Ghat and hardly 800 m from Godhuliya, which is a street food haven and a food enthusiasts delight. We could easily walk from the hotel to the Ghats and spend our evenings watching the evening Arti. The staff was very and cordial. From Spiritual to historical this trip was a mix of everything. While we had ample time to relax and tour the historic site of Ayodhya and Varanasi. We also managed to go spend a day amidst the Stupas of Sarnath and take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. Visiting the various temples in Varanasi was a huge ask that was made easy by some meticulously planned itinerary and we managed to wind up our tour with a gastronomical journey through the streets of Varanasi. Omega Travel Consultants organized an excellent trip for our family to Hong Kong, earlier this year (Jan 2025).
