Nice arrangement. Attentive & cooperatve even in emergency. Tour manager is helpful. They are to take care about seat rotation and advance briefing of day programme. They also show every care for senior citizen.

An amazing experience with Planet tourism under the management of Mr. Sabir Ali and the helper Mr. Chandan. Almost all the places were covered as per mentioned in the itinerary. Also food were delivered on time with mesmerizing taste. Through the streets of asthetic Jew town, munnar tea gardens and the back waters, the team gave us the essence of Kerala's breathtaking authenticity. At the end we got a wholesome experience that has completely made our vacation! Thank you team Planet tourism.

"Planet Tourism ruined our Kerala trip - disorganized, unsafe, and not recommended." - "From missed tickets to assault by driver, worst tour experience ever." 1. Background - Group: 9 travelers (part of a total group of 13). - Lead time: Booked 6 months in advance with partial payments. - Selection: First time with Planet Tourism, chosen based on reviews. --- 2. Major negatives a. Ticketing and planning failures - Missed start date: They forgot to book tickets for 14 Dec; forced us to shift to 16 Dec. - Return tickets scattered: We requested 2AC for all 9, but only 3 seats were 2AC; the rest were split across 3rd Economy and we paid service charge also for this. - Slow booking and poor prioritization: Claimed "tickets were full," yet booking began 1 min 25 secs after the window opened--unacceptable for a paid "professional" service. b. Incompetent tour management - Manager lacked local knowledge: He was in Kerala for the first time and admitted he didn't know the locations. - Operational delays: Day 1 dinner was late because he went shopping for groceries himself. - No guidance on sightseeing: Day 2 was wasted; we were told to coordinate directly with the driver. - Driver behavior: Parked far from sights (often ~1 km), causing avoidable long walks. c. Poor execution of sightseeing - Munnar (Day 2): Late start; arrived near dark; sightseeing lost. - Repeated inefficiencies: Multiple days hampered by poor scheduling and lack of local planning. - Kovalam: Driver parked ~1.5 km away despite available parking nearer the beach. d. Accommodation and room arrangements failure - Pre-agreed room plan ignored: We agreed 3 months prior on 03 double-bedded rooms + 01 triple-bedded room. Across ~6 hotels, we never received a triple bed. - Forced floor sleeping: The third person had to sleep on the floor with an extra mattress every time. - Inconsistent explanation: Mr. Tushar said triple rooms "not available" and they'd pay Rs 500 for an extra mattress. Either the prior commitment was false or they ignored our request and failed to arrange suitable properties--both unacceptable. e. Safety and integrity concerns - Physical assault by driver: A verbal dispute escalated to the driver hitting me. - No accountability: Mr. Tushar blamed the travel agent and still sent the same driver the next day. - Trust broken: This decision severely questions the operator's integrity and guest safety standards. f. Payment and accountability - Pressure for full payment mid-trip: We withheld until the end to ensure accountability. - Post-payment service drop: Final day cab arrived an hour late, citing "road congestion." - Unkept promises: Assured two additional 2AC berths later, then withdrew at the last moment. --- 3. Positives - Food quality: Consistently good meals by Bapi Da (cook). - Kitchen staff sincerity: Helpers worked hard to maintain meal quality. --- 4. Overall verdict - Not recommended. - Planet Tourism failed on planning, execution, accommodation, safety, and accountability. - The trip was marred by ticketing errors, incompetent management, wasted sightseeing, room arrangement failures, and even physical assault by staff. - Good food alone cannot justify the premium charges or systemic service failures. - We will not use Planet Tourism again and will not recommend them to anyone.
