Chowk Head Post Office

I don't know what to say about this. So an Incident happened and I wish to bring this to the notice of whosoever is the in charge of this Post Office regionally. Coming back, I went to the Post Office to get my adhaar card linked number changed. I went there around 10 am which is when the post office opens, I was asked to wait since the person in-charge was looking after something else. 20 mins past, I asked the security guard who was collecting the adhaar cards to see what's happening and how much long to wait? Is this not basic to ask? He said it'll take around 30 mins, I sat down and waited patiently. Then it was almost 11, so I went again to Ask what's the update and how long will it more take. The guy there told me stop pissing me off. If you can't, take your adhaar card n leave. Is this the way to talk? M I asking the guy for something which is beyond his job? No. There was a commotion in the post office. The post man came and tried to blame me for being insensitive towards the guard. And they tried to say "ladkiya batameezi karti hai, Tabhi andar nahi aane dete" and the senior post man encouraged this behavior. I just want to bring this incident to the notice of the people IF in charge of POST OFFICE. Is this how the POST OFFICE OF INDIA WORKS? You discriminate women if they try to voice against something which is wrong? The people were witness of the fact I didn't speak with disrespect to the guard or anyone. All I asked was how long will it take and when the Senior Post Man came I asked him too that he is not accountable to answer this? No customer can stay in the post office for hours, specially when the staff is so rude. The post man didn't listen to me even once and kept saying his thing. Favoring his employees. I urge Adhaar Card authorities and even Post Office regional heads whosoevers Under Chowk Post Office comes to have sensible people employed as their heads.

The post office is quite big but you have to provide changes for speed post otherwise they won't accept booking.This is ridiculous. They should have QR scanner so that money can be transferred without any hassle. I mean at this age, even street vendor has QR codes but no they have to stick to old payment method

About six month back, the male person depute for aadhar services was not co-operative to public.

There is a PO here but it is chaos. If you are a foreigner and all you want is stamps try to get in another town.

Very good services related saving bank ,Nsc, Kisan vikas patra, RD, PPF,Sukanya samriddhi Yojna and adhar card updating and booking and delivering of regd and speed post and parcels etc.

There is no parking place that's the main problem.

This is an absolutely useless service. My courier arrived on 13th May which is showing out for delivery but it has not been delivered yet. This is such a bad service. Everywhere it is delivered within 10 to 12 hours and then there are these people, their service is such that it has been 30 hours but it has not been delivered. Shame on such a service, this is a very bad service.

Government should also focus on privatisation of post offices. I experience several times worst experience of this post office. They always make excuses about the incomplete address. And even I visited the office that did not give my parcel. Next day they ask to visit it again to collect it again.
