Good experience Staff Behaviour Location (because of crowd) Management
Awful place. No sitting arrangements people have to stand under a flyover baggages are not allowed and there is no place to submit your bags.if you put inside scooter chances are high that it maybe get stolen. Check out my photos. Inside it is heaven. Trust me! if you're in a hurry , office staff are more hurry then you.
very bad service, the staff do not explain anything properly. First they asked to get the photo changed in the Aadhar card. When we got the photo changed, now they are saying to bring the PVC Aadhar card. It seems as if everything is filled with lies. very poor service.
There is good facilities we can printout and zerox copy easily Because shop are there
Worst experience and worst employee, my all documents was correct instead of this they are saying change application type from tatkal to normal, ek taraf bol rahe documents incorrect hai dusari taraf bol rahe normal banwa lo, if as per their suggestions documents are incorrect, then how they will accept normal application with same documents, the employee who is verifying the documents before proceeding, very bad behaviour, once he said all documents are correct again after 2 hours, again saying go and meet apo, then saying documents are incorrect, I was ready to provide other documents but not ready to accept. Wasted my time and money both.worst employee and worst experience with passport centre. I verified the adhar with digi verifier after that again they are it's wrong for more info find the snip
My experience was average -- neither great nor terrible. Since it's a government office, a crowd and some waiting time are to be expected. You can't expect 5-star treatment or a quick resolution within half an hour. Key Observations: 1. Crowding and Waiting Space: The place was extremely crowded. A separate sitting arrangement for women and a larger waiting area would make the experience better. 2. Security Staff: The security personnel were not rude. However, if people don't listen after being told multiple times, they are forced to raise their voices. 3. Lack of Help Desks: There should be 2-3 dedicated help desks to explain the process clearly. It's confusing even for educated, young individuals -- let alone for older or uneducated people. The staff answers questions very briefly, and while the process itself is simple, it needs to be clearly written and displayed somewhere (I've explained it in detail below). 4. Document Confusion: Different officers often provide inconsistent information regarding required documents. For instance, I applied for a fresh passport, and as I am married, my name on my 10th certificate differs from my Aadhaar and PAN. I also had my marriage certificate (required for a re-issue after a name change but, oddly, not valid for fresh passports). At Counter B, I was told to submit an ad for a name change in two newspapers or a gazette notification, despite already having the marriage certificate. Later, during my next appointment, a different officer at Counter B directed me back to Counter A to upload the marriage certificate, which took an additional 20-25 minutes. Why wasn't this done during my first visit? Time Required: Expect the entire process to take at least 1 to 1.5 hours. Detailed Process: 1. Entry and Token Assignment: Upon entering, go to the counters on the right. Show your original ID and documents; they will assign you a token number (e.g., N-438). 2. Step 1: Counter A (1st Floor): Check the screens for your token number and corresponding Counter A (e.g., A1, A2, etc.). Here, your documents will be verified, scanned, and uploaded. They will also take your photograph and fingerprints. 3. Step 2: Counter B: Check the screens again for your token and Counter B number. Wait until your name is called (a mic system would help, as the crowd makes it hard to hear). Your documents will be verified again. 4. Step 3: Counter C (Final Verification): Repeat the same process as Counter B. Key Advice: Carry all relevant documents, including your 10th certificate, even if you think higher qualifications should suffice. If you are married and applying for a fresh passport with a name change, prepare for additional requirements (like newspaper ads or gazette notifications). Be prepared for waiting times and occasional inconsistencies in instructions. Final Thoughts: While the process could be made clearer and smoother, it is manageable with patience and preparation. I hope this detailed explanation helps others navigate the system more easily.
Here the passport office has come out from Banaras (manduadih) station, the traffic is in the east, it is also close to our place, we all have come here for passport PCC. And work is done properly here too
