Diamond Harbour Head Post Office

I am not sure about any services there I was there only for my passport And my experience there was not good. I found the place scary. The compound in which the office is located is full of old and huge trees. A deserted building ( I think it was temple)where trees had grown on its own is just beside the office. On a windy day this place would really make you get goosebumps!!!

It's ok . Head post Office is enough far for maintenance to give a well look.

I will share my opinion in various sections. 1) there is no ABC counter . 2) only 1 counter 3) No coupon serve . 4) no brodband line.officer submit passport application with dongle internet. 5) if you HV batch 10 and seq 2 and if you have reporting time 10.40 am .don't come at exactly 10.40.come after 2.30 pm. 6) officer is very helpful although he is struggling to restore the connection of 4g internet dongle again and again. 7)No AC .officer suffering in this very hot summer . 8) very hot inside the room. 9) No exit slip will provided to you . 10) if you want to save time follow my opinion .or otherwise take appointment in Aaksh tower Ruby . Thank you .

This is d oldest GPO of Diamond Harbour... All kinds of postal jobs done here... First Telegrams system is established here by d British(From this point of view it is a historical place as well).... But in this e-age it is given up.

Service and staff behaviour is not good... I was there for a speed post... They told that the speed post counter closes at 3 pm... Though the time was then 2:55 pm... They said that they cannot do it anyway...

I scheduled this post office for passport verification at 9 am . And there they told us it opens at 10am and the officer comes at 11am. Such a bad experience.

Place to be nearest bust service is very very very bad because I'm already apply 3 month over & service centre don't no responsibility... I need to help & wants to quickly passport
