Jadavpur University Sub Post Office

The service of the post office is extremely poor, The lady who receives percel for speed post ,she harasses almost every customer to buy duct tape , some day she is saying to change to form, some day to change the wrapping into a plastic packaging while plastic use is totallY limited by govt of India.. on the other hand I had gone to do aadhar card of my 2.5 years old chiled. Making aadhar is free of cost but they charged 300 Rs from me. They are doing a very nice organised scam and harassment in the post office.

They try their best to serve inspite of staff crisis but there must be a separate counter for couriers for sellers who brings huge number of couriers. You must come with sufficient time in hand because speed post takes much time due to long queue. Recently it's shifted exactly to the 8B bus stand(if you are heading towards Sulekha).

Well behaved staffs and helpful. I am very satisfied.

Despite many people had poor experience, I was served well. They try their best to serve but infrastructure is poor, and unclean. It appeared to me that customers have to wait due to long queue. Sincere thanks to all the staffs for serving me within a short time.

Location of this Post Office is extremely good as it is situated just beside Main Road. This Post Office provides almost all postal services. But waiting in que is almost a must here. This is because presence of large number of customers and shortage of sufficient and efficient staff.

Lunch hour is 2:00 - 2:30 pm but they took their break before lunch hour, letting the customers wait for a long time. Kharab service hai. Layoff man wearing glass, having mole under his left eye; seating at Counter 1. We were standing in line but still he went for break and also not in break time.

Only plus point is that most of the postal services are available here. But the rest are all negative. Worst work culture... they are very very lazy..!! Though It is one of the important post office of this area but infrastructure is so poor.. Limited no of Fan. There are few desktops, from there they operate the whole system... They show, they are very busy...don't have any helping attitude..!!
