My parents went after taking the appointment to get the DoB updated. The officials just denied saying that they won't do it and asked my parents to go to Patna office. What's the point of having the PSKs if they just don't want to do what they are meant for. How are elderly people able to make such arrangements all their own. Such pathetic service. After numerous requests they said to bring birth certificate, matriculation certificate, aadhar and PAN card. But the passport official website says that any of the above are applicable. My parents had taken aadhar and PAN card and offered to submit that, but they outright denied the work and rudely denied talking to them.

Service is overall satisfactory. It is behind the Post office building along with aadhar updation center. There was no token system in place. The officer will come outside and you will have to hand over your appointment receipt along with self-attested photocopy of proof documents. Then you will be called inside by names. Bring self-attested photocopy of all your proof documents and a printed copy of Online Appointment receipt. If you do not have printed appointment receipt, write down your appointment SMS on a piece of paper. Officers were not very punctual, expect delays. One of them was not wearing mask.
