Got there by 9AM, already 50 people before me. There is a red building where all the process is done. Given a token at first, waited for my no. only otherwise the process was smooth. You can get your made there only costs 50. Put 2 photos on request letter and sign them crossed. Took me 2 min to complete the whole process excluding 3 hours of waiting for my turn. The last payment can be done by card only. Help your fellow citizen if someone is stuck at this stage. Everything went well and not waiting for my gazette on Saturdays. Things to remember: 1. Go as early as possible. 2. Take all your documents as advised. 3. Talk to officers with sincerity. Don't hurt thier ego. 4. If you don't have proper documents, agents outside are there to help you. I recently visited the Department of Publication, Civil Lines, Delhi for my name change gazette notification. The process was smooth and professional. I received my name notification in the Gazette of India within 3 weeks. Overall, a nice and hassle-free experience!

People reached early in morning to get their work done. Be polite and honest to the staff and they will guide you thouroughly. No need to give your work to agents, they will overcharge you in the name that your work will get completed in just one visit and without any hassle, don't fall for them. I got gazette notification in 14 working days. Sitting arrangement is there, parking place is not there but it is not an issue, you can park vehicle near the office.

Surprise to see, it is the only office for the entire country to get the name change Published in the Gazette of India. Nice arrangements but a cumbersome process. Wastage of time in personal presence at this office to get the work done. One has to reach early morning latest by 7:00 am to get the token. Actual process starts after 10:00am and your turn comes as per the token number issued. When everything is online and on finger tips these days, this Department is still doing things aged old.

This office is for getting any notification regarding name change to be published in the gazette of india. The nearest metro station is vidhan sabha which is on yellow line and exit from gate no.2 to reach here and this office is around 250 mtrs away from metro and you can reach here by walking. The security guard here are very rude and a few staff members are cooperative and a few are very polite and helpful.

For name change, firstly you have to make an Affidavit, Name change application in one newspaper, two passport size photo of applicant and Correct name id proofs with photocopies. Take this all you with you no problem of CD, they will make you CD in 50rs there and 1400rs for gazette. The Main important thing is they will not take money through cash or paytm, they will only take money through card for payment. You have to go there around 9am. Thank you and share it with others. For work purpose : It is advised to reach early by 9. Else there will be Rush. It is advised to visit the office once before doing anything. They will give you format and tell you what to do. Or else There is format available in the internet. There are two process, one is name change which applies if you have valid proof of old and new name both. If there is a spelling mistake in any documents i.e passport and you don't have any other proof of wrong name, you are advised to go for public notice it's different procedure and the Matter is different. Wrost place we are waiting since 30minutes after register ourself on registration desk but there is no body who can help us we are very disappointed by this i think every Government office is like this Can anyone doing this correctly
