Visa Class C1/D - For Seafarers My experience here was smooth and well-organized. A few helpful tips for anyone coming for their C1/D visa appointment: * Bring all your documents in color print, as printing on-site is quite expensive (30 per page). * Lockers for electronic items--such as phones, smartwatches, and chargers--are available, but they cost 200. * You can carry your bag inside, but absolutely no electronic items are allowed. * If possible, bring someone who can hold your phone while you go in, since the process moves fast. * Arrive at least 1 hour early to finish sooner and avoid delays. * The biometric process takes only about 5 minutes, which is very convenient. Overall, everything was good, the staff was efficient, and the process was quick. Great experience for seafarers.

Shivaji Stadium Metro Station base level has US VAC. Metro locker is in front of US VAC in base level itself and 3rd party locker and printout facilities is also adjacent to US VAC. There are 2 queues. One for biometric and another for Interview Waivers. My biometric time was 2 PM and I stand in queue at 1:30 PM. One of the 2 persons will check whether application confirmation information is up to the mark or not and matching with passport. When you go inside for biometric then they will put sticker on your passport. Need to stand in small queue again. Photo & Biometric hardly take 5 minutes.

Wht there for document drop off and passport collection list VISA stamping. It's on the mezzanine level and there is a lift. It's the same entry as the metro station entry. There is a biometric line and document drop Off windows. Early mornings it's crowded and you need to visit as per the allocated time. Phones are not allowed. It opens at 9 am and closes at 4 pm. Saturday and Sunday is closed. There are escalators and lifts. You need to show your biometric appointment and also carry your Aadhar card for identification. There ms a parking area available before the Indian Oil petrol pump. They charge Rs 18 per hour. Parking can be difficult if you are in your own private vehicle. You can even park outside the Hanuman mandir at Rs 20 an hour. Metro is the best bet. It open to the centre only. There is china and other countries office too. There are a few shops and cafes like Starbucks, Vedic mix, Cinnabon. Then while you are waiting for your turn you can get a foot massage done for 20 minutes. This massage is for Rs 250 and done by the visually impaired. Took about 15 minutes did the biometrics.

Thanks to VFS! Infact today VFS Delhi (USA) (in shivaji stadium metro station office) took RECORD 8 minutes ONLY from start to end. I reached at 8.18 am. Hardly 10 people in queue. My appointment was at 9 am. At 8.26 am, I was out of VFS completing biometrics. We kept the mobile in third party app based locker. They charged Rs 100 per hour basis. The guard was very kind, he suggested that instead that you go 1 by 1. First wife can go, come out in 10 minutes, I can carry her mobile. Then I can go and wife can carry mobile. But we both kept the mobile in locker. 3 applicants were turned back as their DS160 had crossed 1 year expiry. Ours was 10 months old. So no issue. The trick is fill up DS160 first. Do not SUBMIT. Go to appointment page. Once you get appointment normally 12-16 months later, then keep on visiting DS160 page once in 15 days to keep it alive. Once you are within 1 year expiry from date of appointment the PRESS SUBMIT. Remember to print DS160 before submitting. I suggest the reader to go to VFS office a day in advance and get your documents checked in all respects. VFS people are outside the gate and cooperative.

Directions: Use the backdoor of the metro station -> take the escalator or stairs to go down 2 floors and you will see the VAC straight ahead. Lockers: If u have any electronic items, phones or car keys or bags, you can use the Delhi Metro Lockers by using an app on your smartphone. There is also a shop that provides locker service with a bit higher price than the metro lockers. Both lockers are available right next to the VAC entrance. VAC: Super smooth and fast. Takes barely 10 minutes for the queue, document checks, photo and fingerprints. Courteous staff and security. Docs: Keep DS-160 confirmation page, appointment confirmation page and original Passport. No coloured prints or photos required.

It was a great and smooth experience for my. I had 9 am appointment and reached around 8:20 over there, immediately they gave me entry and within 8:45 i was outside. It doesn't take much time. No need to carry multiple documents. Only three documents you have to carry 1 passport ( obviously) 2 DS160 confirmation 3 Appointment letter. That's it. Also there is locker facilities available for 100rs per hour for your electronics.

Excellent state of the art arrangement for very convenient parking at a reasonable rate. The experience at Visa centre was equally very great. I reached 10 mins before my appointment and got free from bio metrics in 20 mins. All I needed to carry was passport and DS1 with appointment confirmation. If there were multiple DS1 all copies to be carried. No need of color print outs (some people mentioned in review which confused me) , black and while print outs work. Phones or any electronic items like smart watch are not allowed and can be kept in locker available right there for 200. I left mine with my driver. Over all a very smooth hassle free experience.

The biometric process thereafter is straightforward. With 15 biometric counters in operation, waiting times are usually short and the procedure is typically completed within 15 minutes. The staff are courteous and particularly supportive of senior citizens. My appointment was scheduled at 14:30, joined the queue at 13:50 and exited from the building at 14:33. Applicants should remain cautious of private agents standing outside the metro station who attempt to sell unnecessary services, such as DS-160 printouts or physical photographs, at excessively high prices. If any printouts are genuinely required, a photocopy and print shop is available on Level C outside the centre. Overall, the centre offers an efficient, well-organised, and smooth experience. Added : For passport collection ( once you receive a SMS ), you just need to carry a government approved id ( but not a PAN card ), a photo copy of the same, DS160 confirmation and appointment confirmation letters. The passport can be collected within a minute from window 6/7 just outside the center.
